Y/N POV
"DADDD! I THINK I HAVE A QUIRK!" I screamed like I had witnessed hell itself. I sat down on the cool grass and waited for my father to come outside. Faint footsteps were heard and they became more louder "COMING!!!" My dad had hollered while running towards me.

He's gonna trip, I waited for him to fall. He had continued to run towards me but hadn't realized there was a rock in front of him. "AHHH IMMA FALL!" He fell on the grass and slowly sat up, he smiled weakly and nervously coughed. "What is it sweetie?" He chirped and I noticed the grass stains that adorned his white shirt.

I stuck out a finger towards his chest. "You see this!" With my other hand I pointed at the said finger. "This is my quirk!" I proudly exclaimed as if I had invented the time machine. I looked at him and he looked...amused?. "Okay" he had tried to stifle a laugh and was having a hard time holding it in.

"EHHH WHAT DO YOU MEAN OKAY!" I shouted as I poked his forehead repeatedly. He was begging for mercy and I had gladly accepted it as I sat down gracefully. "Wow that was hard" of course you acted as if you didn't care! I let out a irritated sigh and calmly looked up at him.

He nodded his head and leaned towards me, he rested his palm on my head and gently ruffled my hair. "Is this quirk gonna change your goal...Y/N" his tone of voice had changed to one that was serious. I looked at him with a confused expression, "what do you mean?"

I ripped some pieces of grass and began to tear them into tinier pieces, until they were no longer able to get smaller. Dad had now laid down on his back and was resting his head on one of the clover beds. His breathing was now much more shallow then how it had been years ago when he first adopted me.

"You said you wanted to become a hero without a quirk...so others can feel like anyone can become a hero" I threw the grass pieces somewhere and laid down beside him, feeling the warmth he had radiated to me, causing me to feel safe. I felt as if nothing bad were to happen as long as I was near my father.

"That goal was something I had wanted to accomplish ever since I was a child...but I guess I can't really do it anymore, huh?" I looked at the sky and made out little cloud figures. I found a cat and also a heart, I felt comfortable and felt like staying here would be nice. My father then spoke up

"I guess you can't...but that doesn't mean your gonna stop being a hero...Y/N even if you were to be born with a quirk or without one it doesn't change your current goal" he proudly said and he began to stand up. I soon followed suit and stood up from my spot.

"And what is my goal now?" I questioned as I began to stare up at the sky, dad then grabbed my hand and slowly raised it up to the sky, above me. "To become the number one hero, and go Plus Ultra!" I began to cry in joy, Now I'm starting to act like Mochi-Cheeks I guess he's really rubbed off on me.

After that talk about my goal dad had excused me from training and told me to relax. So I had decided to watch some anime.

"Dad where are you going anyways, isn't it too late to be going out?" I kept on pestering him as I followed him throughout the house as he was getting ready to leave. He seemed to be in a rush and it had made me even more intrigued.

Hmmm seems odd ...I continued to follow him again as I tried to annoy the answer out of him. "Ok ok I've had it, I'll just tell you some minor details, will that satisfy you" dad had looked at me irritated and was now leaning on the kitchen counter waited for my answer.
