Tari X Meggy: One Shots

Introduction

    One fine morning, a young pretty woman was walking down the little path beside a pond. This young woman, was named Tari. She had blue hair, dark pink eyes, and a robotic arm. Tari is always wearing her favorite sweater, made after a blue jay. She wore khaki pants and socks with sandals (she thinks they're cool). Now, she just left her home in Silica City. She had just left after her team, MD-5, had let her on break for however long she needs. So, she went on a trip to the closest place outside of Silica City. The Mushroom Kingdom. 

Back to the story. As Tari walked, she saw a young squid-like girl. She was an inkling. She wore a white shirt with a design Tari has seen before. It was a symbol in Inkopolis, where inklings are from. Inklings are squid-like creatures who can transform into human characters. Tari knew exactly who she was.

 Tari was freaking out. She knew when she'd come to the Mushroom Kingdom, she'd meet video game characters, but she didn't know it'd be one of her most favorites or that they'd meet so soon. So she sprints to her, hoping to make conversation.

Tari: Oh my gosh! It's actually you! You have no idea how excited I am to meet you! You're Inkling Girl, right?

The girl smiled. This was nothing new. She loved meeting newcoming fans. If only she knew who this blue haired girl would be in her future.

Inkling Girl: Hello! Nice to meet you to! I'm known as Inkling Girl in my games, but my name is Meggy Spletzer. What's your name?

Tari: Tari Mayfield. I'm new around here. Just came from my hometown, Silica City!

Meggy looked surprised. 

Meggy: Silica City?! Wait.. 

She looked at Tari's robotic arm.

Meggy: You're a Meta Runner! 

Tari was confused by her attention. She hesitated before continuing.

Tari: Yes... I am.

Meggy: That's great! I need someone like you! I work with some people by the name of Kevin and Luke. We make YouTube videos! They assigned me to find a Meta Runner for a part in his videos! Can you do it?

Tari looked surprised. She wasn't expecting this conversation to go this way so quickly. 

Tari: Um, I guess. Can I meet them first? 

Meggy: Of course!

Meggy grabbed Tari's hand. It felt warm. Meggy just stared at Tari's hand for a moment, embracing the feeling of her warm hand.

Tari: Meggy? Are you okay?

Meggy jumped up.

Meggy: Huh? Oh! Right! Let's go!

Meggy dragged Tari along to the castle of the Kingdom.
