Jimin watches as Taehyung's younger brother laughs at Taehyung's explanation, having heard of his best friend's engagement. He'd came from the next town over to help celebrate, Taehyung being one of the last of his friends to finally get in a relationship.

"I still can't believe this. Of all the men she could have chosen it had to be one of the goofiest farmers in the village," Said Taehyung's younger brother, the 17-year-old having always prided himself on finding a wife before his older brother did. He nudges Jimin, who was drinking the lemonade that Jimin's partner, Hazel, brought for them. "Can you believe this?"

"I can, actually," Jimin defended his friend, who didn't show it, but he wasn't appreciating his brother's taunting. "Everyone knows Hope and Taehyung have been eyeing each other since they were kids. They practically grew up together."

Taehyung was glad that his good friend defended him. Jungkook walks inside from the barn, pulling off his gloves and grabbing a tall glass of ice cold lemonade. He gulped the whole thing down before placing the glass back down. "Did you even taste that?" Min Yoongi asked.

Jungkook rolled his eyes, "It's hot out there," He panted, "Thank God we're almost done. Can't you just postpone the wedding, Taehyung?" Jungkook complained, only half-serious.

Taehyung shook his head, "I know it's hard but our home has to be finished a week before the wedding. It'll be her wedding gift from me."

Kim Seokjin, a distant cousin of Taehyung's, sighs. "You've got ambition, I'll give you that. Alright, I'll go finish up and call it a day." He said, pulling the front door open and shutting it behind him. Joy and Hazel were cleaning up the house itself before they'd start painting it, the main house was just finished by the men. It was nice, sturdy and incredibly cozy.

It was coming together nicely, Taehyung was quite proud of their work. The past few months have been tiring but it'd be worth it in the end.

She looked more gorgeous than ever. Her white gown was elegant and simple, with lace designs and a matching veil. Taehyung pulled his hands from hers to lift the veil as instructed, pulling her close to give her a short and sweet kiss. The crowd cheered and applauded, tossing up flower petals as the couple ran down the aisle.

Taehyung helped her onto their wagon which would be pulled by his horse Timber, who had a bowtie fashioned around his neck. They waved at the crowd, Hope tossing her bouquet to her gorgeous bridesmaids. It was caught by Joy, everyone looking to Jungkook expectantly. The newly wedded couple laughs at his anxious expression, waving and heading off to their new home, which Hope had yet to see.

  "Close your eyes, darling."

"But, Tae! I'm so excited!" She pleaded, leaning into him. He chuckles, "I know, honey, but be patient. I promise you won't regret it."

She pouted a little and reluctantly closed her eyes, bouncing excitedly. At last he pulls up to their new home, jumping out and making sure she still had her hands over her eyes. She blindly reaches for his hand and he holds her tightly, Hope expected to be set on her feet, though he tucked his arm under her legs. She squealed at the sudden adjustment, Taehyung laughing at her. "Can I look now?" She asked impatiently.

"Alright, honey. Go ahead." She peeked from behind her hands and gasped, staring in awe at their new home. It was much larger than she had anticipated, not to mention the barn. Taehyung carries her up the porch, Hope gasping at the sight of the porch swing from her family's shed. It hadn't been used since her parents passed, now it looked good as new.
