Grace sighs as she looks down at her youngest daughter, who was looking back up at her with hopeful eyes. Grace gently continues to apply makeup to her daughter's eyes, ensuring that her hair was still in place. "I'm sorry, baby. I can't say for sure if he'll make it to this one."

Yeunha looks down at her feet, clad with her nude ballet slippers. She had really been looking forward to her father making it to this dance competition. It was one of many that she's done before, but this one especially she was nervous for. There was a lot at stake for her, not to mention she had four performances she was in, one of them being a solo that was extremely difficult. But she knew she could do it, she just wished her dad was there to see it.

Work wasn't the only thing holding Hoseok back from attending his daughter's dance competitions. What made it so difficult was the fact that he himself was a dancer that was very well known in the industry, and no one knew that he was Yeunha's father. That being said, he was sure if he attended an event not only would he be flocked but plenty of parents would believe he's scouting for young dancers, which isn't the case, he just wants to be there for Yeunha. Everyone knew he was married and had children, but his family's identity was purposefully hidden for a reason.

"Yeunie, your sister and brothers will be in the audience to support you, okay? And I know you can do this. I'll make sure Daddy sees it when he can, okay?" The nine-year-old bobs her head stiffly, trying not to move too much so her mother could finish her stage makeup.

People already knew Grace as a famous choreographer, but she hardly intervened when it came to coaching and teaching her daughter. Ballet was one of the only styles of dance that Grace had almost no experience in, and for that reason she sat back and let her coach do her job. Unlike other mothers who always found a reason to nag, Grace at least knew what it meant to be in a coach's position and never wanted to make anyone else's job harder than it already was. Because of her passiveness the other moms thought Grace had a sense of entitlement because she was already in the entertainment industry and could have ties to other opportunities; believing she would abuse her power. Grace didn't do that, because she couldn't bare to put that kind of pressure on Yeunha when all she wanted to do was have fun. Granted, Grace still pushed her to strive for the best, but she didn't want to force Yeunha to do something she truly had no heart in.

"Yeunha, your solo is in a few minutes, go wait for your turn backstage." Said her coach, who had a frown on her face. Grace heard her and another mom going at it over one of the young dancers not remembering a part.

Grace presses a kiss to her daughter's hair, "You'll do great, baby. Win or lose we're all proud of you, okay?" Grace's heart softens when her daughter's natural smile grows on her face, a few of her slightly crooked teeth showing.

Grace finds her seat in the audience, Hanah having held her spot with the other families of the dancers. Leo slid out of his mother's seat and held his arms up towards her, Grace cooing at the five year old and sitting with him in her lap, three year old Daeyoung was sleeping on his big sister's shoulder.

"Eomma, is Yeunie okay?" Hanah asked, she was worried about her younger sister. Hanah would often help Yeunha with her stretches, considering the twelve year old was in both gymnastics and hip hop dance (taking after both her parents, and Hoseok couldn't be more proud). In the past two weeks of preparation for competitions, Hanah had noticed how stressed her little sister was, and school wasn't much help either. Now, their dad wasn't all that strict on grades because he definitely wasn't an all star student, but Grace was. She thought education was just as important as dance - if not, more, and knew she could be a bit hard on her daughters when it came to studying. Hoseok had to tell her to loosen up her restrictions a number of times and she was finally starting to ease up on it as she sees how much pressure it puts her daughters under. They were phenomenal students, anyway, she just wanted them to be persistent and never lose their drive to learn.
