🌺Description:
"You're always smiling, even in the worst of times."

"Yeah? Well, the brighter the light the darker the shadows..."

It's one thing to make yourself vulnerable to another person through the physical sense. Some might consider it quite easy, to expose your body to someone else, let them take advantage of what they see.

But it's exposure of the soul; tearing down your barriers that mends you with someone else.

He meets her just as he starts to launch his music career. But the hardships will surely come with it, and Yoongi is afraid that no one understands, not even Mya.

An emotional journey about the stigma that comes with success and it's true similarities to happiness. Self-discovery and passion combined in with impending fame is a lethal mix, it seems. But perhaps Mya understands that a bit more than Yoongi initially thought.

Seoul wasn't so bad, Yoongi supposed. He'd never hated it, he was just afraid it wouldn't live up to his expectations. So, as he always does, he went into the city with low expectations, preferring the element of surprise by the grand city rather than suffer the disappointment.

There were plenty of great things about Seoul, he quickly discovered that. But those great things seemed to always have their downsides. It's been a year since he's lived here now, working for this company, Big Hit, as Bang Si-Hyuk called it. There was this group he wanted Yoongi to take part in, called Bangtan Sonyeondan. It was a rap group, and Yoongi couldn't say no, despite originally wanting to be a producer. His efforts had greater chance of publicity being part of the group.

But despite all these great projects and productions, struggling was still a major factor in Yoongi's life. At least for him, it was something he was quite used to. After being on his own when he reached a disagreement with his parents, he didn't consider independence a bad thing. In fact he preferred to rely on himself.

He had a part-time job delivering on a motorbike. It wasn't much, but it contributed to his finances, at least, and it helped support his needs.

His body felt sore from all the exercise he'd endured lately. He tries to direct his focus away from the pain. He had a melody in his head, and was eager to get back to the dorms to write it down. It would go perfectly with the lyrics that he and the team established.

He approached the intersection, looking both ways and patiently ensuring it was his turn to move. Just as he crossed, a rough thud threw his body off his vehicle. His body screams, a sudden numbness resonating in his shoulder, throbbing and sharp.

He wasn't sure how long he'd been out for, but a sharp pulse contracts his temples, he winces and cracks his eyes open. Before his eyes was a blurred wheel, barely a few centimeters away from his face.

The darkness draped him after that.

Sat up in his hospital bed, slumped and unable to move his shoulder Yoongi contemplates his next step. He couldn't tell his company about this.

It was only a dislocated shoulder, so he's told, and a couple of scratches, but that would go away. He needed this. There was nothing he had left, and with the injury he couldn't continue his part-time job. When he woke up he called and explained that he would discontinue his work with the delivery service.

He chewed his nails, knowing full well that he'd have to explain himself eventually.
