Amy thinks she has her life figured out. She has a boyfriend she loves, a job she enjoys and a settled life. A chance encounter changes everything. Amy feels drawn towards Harry in a way that she tries to fight. Harry is fresh off his first solo to...
"It's you, babe And I'm a sucker for the way that you move, babe And I could try to run, but it would be useless You're to blame Just one hit, and you will know I'll never be the same"
Harry is sitting on his temporary bed when there's a knock at the door. He stands up and answers it. It's Amy. She is wearing a black bikini, with denim shorts and a plaid button down over top.

Harry starts at her feet and looks her all the way up ending at her face. Amy pulls the sides of her shirt closed across her chest and Harry feels guilty for checking her out so obviously. It is not the message he is trying to send to her.
Although Amy covered herself when she saw Harry's eyes on her, she secretly liked the idea that he wanted her. That he lusted for her. It's been so long since a man looked at her that way.
"Can we talk?" she asks.
"Yes," Harry says way more eagerly than he meant to.
He opens the door further and she steps inside and he closes it behind her. Amy turns around to face him and notices how close they are to each other because of the smallness of the room. She suddenly feels nervous and can feel her heart rate quicken.
"I know I've asked you this before but...why are you here?"
"I felt like they were things that I didn't get to say to you last time, things I still need to say."
"Like?"
"Like I want to get to know you, Amy. And I want you to know me."
Harry takes the opportunity to ask his own question.
"Why didn't you tell me you broke up with your boyfriend?"
"You never asked," she says back, and it's not with sass but more like she is trying to state facts.
She eyes him cautiously. She is having trouble believing that he flew all the way to Vancouver just for her. So, she asks him straight up.
"Did you come to Vancouver for me?"
"Why else would I come?"
"I don't know. You said you had a friend tell you about the art show?"
"You're the friend Amy. Other than Derek, you're the only person I know that lives here."
Harry decides to ask another question, "Did you break up with him because of me?"
Amy is shocked by the bluntness of his question and she's not sure how to answer. She thinks a simple 'no' sounds harsher than she means it to be. And it's not exactly accurate either.
"No—" before she can finish she sees his face fall "—and yes. We would have broken up eventually. Meeting you just pushed me to that decision sooner."
