Amy thinks she has her life figured out. She has a boyfriend she loves, a job she enjoys and a settled life. A chance encounter changes everything. Amy feels drawn towards Harry in a way that she tries to fight. Harry is fresh off his first solo to...
"If the whole world was watching I'd still dance with you Drive highways and byways to be there with you Over and over the only truth Everything comes back to you"
Amy spent much of the day in her own head. She couldn't stop thinking about Harry and him trying to pressure her into giving things up for him. Harry was the one who, four months ago, pushed her into giving him up to pursue her work and now it felt like he was doing the opposite.
Amy stops to pick up some lunch for her and Harry on the way back to the hotel. She is anxious about what his mood is going to be like when she sees him. Is he still going to be upset that they didn't get to spend more time together?
But when she gets back to the hotel, Harry isn't in the room. There's a note from him that says he went out for a run. Amy decides to have a shower and hope he is back by the time she is done. When she comes out of the shower, he is sitting on the bed with his feet up, phone in hand, still in his running gear. He looks up at her when he hears the bathroom door open and smiles softly. He approaches her and she stands waiting for him, in just her towel.
"I'm sorry about earlier. I know you love your job. I just miss you. Don't be mad that I want to spend every minute I can with you," he says standing close to her.
She nods at him, unsure of what to say.
"I have a surprise for you. Get dressed," he says with a smirk.
"What is it?" she says, smiling back cautiously at him.
"You'll see when we get there."
Amy gets dressed while Harry showers. When he comes out they quickly eat the lunch Amy brought and then they're out the door. There's a car service waiting for them. They don't drive far before they are pulling up in front of a store.

"Harry, are you kidding?! I can't afford anything in there."
"I called in some favors."
"What do mean "called in some favors"?" Amy asks incredulously.
"I did a modeling campaign with them."
"What? When?"
"Here I am, practically stalking you online from the moment I left Vancouver and you didn't even google me once?" he says teasingly.
"I would never have stopped if I started," she admits quietly. Amy also knows that she would have been devastated to see him with another woman. The thought, even now, pains her.
"Plus, those things they write about you, that's not you. You're not that person. I get the real you. You're kind, thoughtful and loyal. You're sweet and sentimental. You're an amazing boyfriend," she whispers the last part in his ear.
Harry smiles at Amy's appraisal of him.
"And you wouldn't stop emailing me so I knew you were okay," she teases, smiling childishly at him. He wraps his arm around her in a bit of a headlock, roughhousing her for her teasing. He frees her and then kisses her forehead gently.
