A/N: This is a sequel to Buttons. It can be read alone as it has an entirely different storyline, but it's set at the same time, just so you know.

"We should surprise him! Can we get some of these big helium balloons for him?" Scott asked.

He was sitting at the breakfast table with Avi. Mitch was on his way back home from Paris, where he attended some events during the Fashion Week.

Avi rolled his eyes. "Yeah. Because this is so discreet. Why don't you just stand there and yell 'I am Scott Hoying, this is Avi Kaplan. We're going to pick up our boyfriend, Mitch Grassi.' I just want to go to the airport, find Mitch, bring him home and cuddle."

"But I wanted to do something special for him. I missed him. Please? Pretty please with a cherry on top?" Scott pouted at his boyfriend and grinned when Avi rolled his eyes.

"Whatever..." he replied. "But you'd need to hurry to get to the store and back again to pick me up."

Scott raised an eyebrow. "Or you could go to the store with me and then we'll had to the airport?"

Avi sighed. "Scott..."

"Please? It's just a balloon or two..."

Two hours later, Avi followed Scott through the arrivals hall of LAX. The blonde was carrying two ballons, one was heart shaped and the other one was round and had Welcome Home written on it. He was smiling brightly and did not mind that Avi was not as happy as he was.

He stayed behind Scott with his hands in the pockets of his jacket and had his beanie pulled far into his face, not wanting to be seen. His feet dragged along the hall and he knew that he wanted to be somewhere else.

"He should come out here" Scott said excited as he stopped in front of the exit. "Baggage claim has already started, cannot be long... although, he'll probably go through customs, too. He probably bought a couple things..."

"Hmmm..." Avi hummed absentminded.

Scott sighed. "Avi..."

"Yeah?" Avi looked at his boyfriend.

"Don't pout" Scott said softly. "It's just balloons and I think they will make Mitch smile..."

This caused Avi to smile, too. "Yeah... it's just... I don't know, I hate crowds and I thought that everyone would recognise us, but they aren't. Still, I cannot wait to have Mitch in my arms, preferably at home."

"I get that, Avi. But I am here with you. Don't worry. And next time you can just wait at home if you're uncomfortable" Scott offered. "I am not forcing you to come."

"But I wanted to come. Couldn't wait so see our Mitchy again. Mitchy!"

It was in this very moment that Mitch stepped through the door and looked around.

Scott shook his head. He might be the one holding two large balloons, but it was Avi who called Mitch's name and approached him with quick steps. He smiled fondly when his boyfriends hugged and kissed and joined them to greet his tired boyfriend as well.

"It's so good to have you back home, Mitchy" he said to his boyfriend. "Here, these are for you." He handed Mitch the balloons and the brunette chuckled.

"That is the cheesiest thing someone has ever done for me" he pointed out. "And somehow I like it a lot!"

"Avi hates it" Scott stated and laughed when the bearded man hit him playfully.

"Avi does not like crowds and drawing attention to himself so of course he hates it" Mitch explained and smiled at his boyfriend. "Sorry if it is too much."
