"Avi? I want to leave as soon as possible, could we go to the pantry real quick and see what we need? I wanna make a list, people will be crazy and buying everything and I need a plan to make it through this insane time" Scott said. "Also I have no idea how much rice or pasta we need for one dish, I would buy too much anyway."

"That's so true" Avi said as he emptied his mug tea and got up. They went down into the basement where they had a spacious pantry for storable things like pasta, rice and also the myriad of jams Avi made from the fruits he grew in their garden.

"Okay, so... we have enough pasta, you could bring some rice, canned tomatoes, canned beans, flour and sugar, and whatever you might feel like having? Mitch is bringing potatoes and onions along with other fresh fruits and veggies he can get" Avi explained. "It really isn't much, maybe try for some toilet paper? What we have will probably last us for a week, but maybe you can get some and spare us from going to the store again..."

Scott took notes on his phone while Avi was talking. "Okay... snacks and things like tea and coffee?"

"Of course, snacks" Avi chuckled. "And yes to coffee and tea, we're running low on green tea and Mitch's herbal tea. Milk would be lovely, eggs..."

"Bread?" Scott asked.

"Oh I don't think so, I have enough ingredients to bake a few loafs myself" Avi said. "But maybe some good cheese?"

"Anything else? I just started on a new bottle of body wash and shampoo..." Scott asked.

"I don't know, would you check the bathroom before you leave? Especially for soap" Avi said.

"Will do..."

In the end the two men spent some more time walking through the house and determining the bare necessities they would need to avoid going to the store every other day.

Afterwards Scott left the house and Avi busied himself with some cleaning and preparations for dinner. He had just finished kneading the dough for a load of bread when Mitch came home with a couple of bags.

"Uuuh, someone's been busy" he greeted his boyfriend.

Avi nodded. "Of course. I cannot let you do all the work. I am glad that you and Scott volunteered to do the shopping. It must be crazy out there" he said while taking two of the bags from Mitch.

Mitch shrugged his shoulders. "Honestly, it was calm at the store. I think Scott will have a hard time, but apparently no one seems to be interested in healthy stuff. Oh and the owner, Maria was there, she said if we need anything we should just tell her, she will do home deliveries during the lockdown." He started to unpack the bags and stowed everything away. "When did Scott leave?"

"Not that long, half an hour maybe? I just vacuumed the living room and did some kitchen works" Avi explained. "So I think he'll be gone for a while."

"Mmhm..." Mitch hummed and took a few grapes, washed them and started eating them. "Want one?" He held a grape up to Avi's lips and grinned when Avi took it.

"Yummy" Avi commented.

"They really are" Mitch replied. "Anyway... you vacuumed already? What else is there to do? Bathrooms and bedroom?"

"Yeah" Avi said. "I can do the bathrooms..."

Mitch shrugged his shoulders. "I don't mind doing it either" he replied.

"You cleaned them last week, it's my turn" Avi replied and pecked Mitch's lips, before he went upstairs to do his chores.

"I'm home!"

Mitch and Avi were long finished with their chores and sitting on the sofa when Scott arrived.

"People are crazy! Honestly" the blonde said as he entered the house and spotted his boyfriends.

Mitch and Avi both got up immediately to help Scott bring everything in from the car.

"Why's that?" Avi asked.

"I went to three different stores to get toilet paper and soap" Scott said. "Horrible. They're all buying too much. As if no one is allowed to go out at all during lockdown. Urgh, I am glad that we won't need to go there again for a while."

"Yeah, we can get everything fresh delivered" Mitch agreed. "Do you have much left in the car?"

"Yeah, but if we go together, Mitch, Avi can start organising everything" Scott said.

"Of course" Mitch said and followed Scott out to the car. In the end they each needed to go again twice to be able to transport everything into the house.

Avi was, meanwhile busy with stowing everything away. He liked his kitchen and pantry organised and knew that Mitch and Scott would never interfere. They busied themselves with putting away everything else and only then returned to the kitchen to see if they could help their boyfriend.

"Errrm, Scott? I have a question" Avi asked when he saw that his men were back.

"Yeah?" Scott returned.

"What exactly are you planning to do during the lockdown?" Avi asked and held up three huge packs of condoms and two bottles of lube.

Scott shrugged his shoulders. "Better safe than sorry" he said with a slight smirk on his face.

A/N: A shorty for this Saturday night. It's 1:53am. In seven minutes it'll be 3am. Help. me.

Also, what are your thoughts on your current situation? I talked to the lovely StandingbyAvi today and we agreed that people are slowly getting over this lockdown or "no-contact" thing we are having right now. We feel that people are getting more and more annoyed about the fact that everything is closed.

One example is that at the grocery store I work at, we have a rule that everyone needs to take a shopping cart. It's a rule coming from our local authority to monitor the amount of customers that are allowed in the store. And while we will probably never be out of the 30 carts we have for the customers (aka no one will have to wait in line) when I go to work in the evening the rule is active and communicated by a myriad of posters and signs literally everywhere. And it's been this way since Tuesday. Still, customers are annoyed because if we see them, we need to ask them to go out and grab a cart. Most of them understand in the end, but still, my colleague was insulted today. Unfortunately the guy was out of the store before we could react.
By now we simply tell them "either get one or don't shop" and if they start acting up we repeat it and add that they should choose their words wisely or they will be banned from the store. It's a pity, because I hate doing these things. I only had to officially ban thieves and one guy who insulted me, but that was like 4 years ago and now it's getting so bad.
Urgh, I hate this job so much right now. However, I always think that this is a secure job, because we're needed right now.

Anyway, I hope you are getting by in these times. Stay healthy! Oh and if you didn't know and want some positivity: Avi did an Insta Livestream. It's on YouTube as well, just search for it. He played some songs and talked a little bit about everything. Such a wonderful way to spend 45 minutes, so if you can spare them, do it! Worth it!
