The flight didn't seem to last long, though Arlice guessed it was due to the fact they were no longer holding back their speed to remain hidden. She had to admit, it was nice to let loose some energy. When they landed, Vegeta went running over to a spot with the five other Dragon Balls. Arlice saw Gohan and Krillin stop and hold back so she figured she'd hang back with them.  Vegeta seemed to notice they weren't following and turned around saying, "What are you idiots doing?"

"How do we know you won't betray us and take the wishes for yourself?" Krillin asked, a small glare in his eyes. Arlice tuned out to what Vegeta was saying as she noticed five different aliens land behind him. "Uh, guys..." she started to say but was unheard as Vegeta started yelling at Krillin. "You are wasting time! The Ginyus could be here any second, and then we're-"

He was cut off by the large purple alien saying, "Hey Vegeta." Vegeta, unconsciously, responded back, "Hi Ginyu," before continuing his sentence, "And then we're-." Vegeta stopped there, realizing it was too late. He turned to make sure he heard correctly, then launched into a string of swears and curses. While Arlice had heard Piccolo swear a decent amount, he had never sworn this much, and it shocked the girl to hear all of this coming out of her father's mouth. Eventually, he stopped and took a breath. "Are you done?" Ginyu asked. After hearing Vegeta's "yeah" he continued.

"Now, to get straight to the point, I want those two Dragon Balls you got there. Supposedly there are seven in total and there are five behind us. I do believe that accounts for everything. Before I take these and leave my men to take care of you, is there anything you'd like to say to me, Vegeta?" Ginyu asked the Saiyan. Vegeta smirked and tried throwing the Dragon Ball away, however, the blue alien was able to retrieve it before Arlice could even blink. "Thank you, Burter," said Ginyu. Arlice started to feel a bit more worried about the fight ahead. Vegeta glared and turned to Krillin, ordering him to destroy the Dragon Ball. The monk raised a fist and brought it down, but the orange orb was gone before contact could be made. Arlice turned back to the group and saw it being held by the small green alien.

"Well, I'll handle Vegeta. The rest of you guys can do that "rock, paper, scissors" game to take on the other three. The entire group started arguing with Ginyu, and honestly, Arlice couldn't blame them. If she had the time and strength, she'd want to beat up her father as well. Gohan and Krillin, however, were still panicking beside her. "Fine, you guys can have Vegeta. But he better still be alive when I get back, or you're going to regret it." Ginyu said.

The group of males cheered, then the large orange-haired alien spoke, "Ok, who gets who?" Gohan and Krillin panicked more at this, whereas the two full-blooded Saiyans just glared. The group of four then started playing "rock, paper, scissors" to determine the matchups. The orange-haired one, who Arlice learned was named Recoome, ended up winning and got paired with Vegeta. Guldo, the small green one, ended up against Krillin and Gohan, and Arlice was stuck fighting the space Aussie, Jeice. As soon as things were settled, Ginyu took off with the Dragon Balls. Vegeta called everyone over to make a plan.

"Looks like you boys will be fighting Guldo. Straight on attacks aren't going to work, you'll have to use your head. You said Kakarot was on his way to save everyone? We could use his help once he gets here..." Krillin nodded and he and Gohan got ready to fight. Arlice wanted to help, but Vegeta put a hand on her shoulder to hold her back. "Save your strength. Let them fight and if they need help, then you can intervene. That way you'll have the element of surprise if they do end up needing a hand." Arlice looked at him and nodded, then moved out of his hold. Vegeta watched as she sat down, wanting to say something, but decided against it. He then turned to watch the fight.

Gohan and Krillin launched at Guldo, several times, but every time he managed to evade their attacks. Arlice started to try and formulate a plan to catch him off-guard, as she noticed when he attacked he got very focused on one thing, not his surroundings. However, he was far away from the group spectating, that if she were to attack now he would either notice her or someone from his team would stop her before she could get to him. She needed to wait, but each attack on her friends made her patience shake.

Guldo managed to trap the two boys in their places. Arlice rose to her feet as he started launching a sharpened log at the two, but her father beat her to the attack. In an instant, Guldo's head fell to the ground after Vegeta shot a ki attack to cut it off. Krillin and Gohan regained their ability to move and dodged the log hurling towards them. Arlice looked at her father shocked he stepped in to help and saw as he used more ki to blow up the body and decapitated head. Gohan and Krillin returned to the other two members of the team.

"Thanks, Vegeta, you really saved us!" Gohan exclaimed. Vegeta just huffed and responded with, "Don't thank me. I saw an opportunity and I took it. Plus, if I waited any longer Arlice would have rushed in and there is no point in wasting energy when there are still three other members of the Ginyu Force left to fight." Arlice continued to look at her father shocked. Even if it was in his own interests, he still helped Krillin and Gohan.

The other members of the Ginyu Force mounted the loss of their teammate, but Recoome's sadness didn't seem to last long. He finally had the chance to fight Vegeta and he was going to enjoy it.
