I force myself out of the memory. I can't think about it. It hurts too much.

I stand out slowly. Taking deep breaths, Sirius Black isn't going to be James' new best friend, that's ridiculous.

Now, where am I?

The alley where I'm standing is dark, but around the corner I see the light of the main road. But do I want to go back? Not really. Not yet at least.

So I walk further down the dark alleyway, soon small shops appear on either side,  all dark and creepy looking.

I find myself in what appears to be the center space of the alley. On one side of the street is a large building, a shop, I think. it's the only place here that's actually lit.

                 Borgan and Berks

Huh.

I decide to go inside. I push the door open and it creeks loudly.

It is the complete opposite of Mildreds, The shop is, if anything, shabbier then it is on the outside.

"Yeesh" I mutter.

Everything in the store seems to have some sort of dark properties, from shrunken hands, the things I don't even want to know what they're for.

All of a sudden feeling of dread washes over me, I know where I am. Knockturn Ally! I have to get out!

I run from the store up the dark street, but all of a sudden they were never there before!

Their grimy fingers grab my arm and pull me back, I'm horrified!

"Whas going on here!" Booms a loud voice. "Marisa! Is there a child you've got there?"

The old which holding my arm drops it, and the rest of the crowd shuffles back.

"And who are you to say anything about it, Hagrid?" She grunts.

"Give her here Marisa." And the speaker steps into the light. Oh my Merlin.

He's at least double the height of a normal human with a beard that takes up most of his upper body. And in the moment, I don't know what I'm more scared of; these people, or him.

The witch, Marisa, scowls and shrinks into the shadows.

"All righty there?" The giant asks.

"I, uh....... yeh?" I say fearfully. Trying to shrink away as the witch did.

"Sorry if I startled to ye." He says, "I'm Hagrid, now who're ye?"

" Aria," I stammer, "Aria Prewett."

"A a Prewett, are we?" He says, " your older brothers are quite  troublemakers I say. Now what are you doing down Knockturn Ally?"

"I got lost." I try to explain.

"Well, in da future, I'd say keep track of where ye goin', I will always be there to save ya."

"Yes, Mr.?"

"Call me Hagrid."

Hagrid walks me back to the Main Street, where I bid him farewell and hurry off to Flourish and Blotts.

Once inside, I look around for James, and I spot him, standing on the second level, with that Sirius boy.

At this point, I can just hope the boy will leave, but either way, I want to tell James about Knockturn Ally, and my encounter with the giant Hagrid.

I make my way up the stairs and through the shelves. Turning the corner on one of them though, I walk straight into someone, knocking us both to the ground.

"Sorry." I murmur, stumbling to my feet.

"It's no problem." A boy says.

I look over to see who he is.

He's a tall boy with sandy hair and tons of scars on his face, but he looks kind.

He leans down to pick up the books he dropped.

"Here, let me help you with that." I say leaning down too and grab a few books.

I hand them to him just as James walks around the corner.

"Aria?" He asks.

"James! I have something important to tell you!" I say, giving a slight wave to the boy, before pulling James off around the corner.

"First off, where's your friend?" I ask.

"Sirius? Oh. He had to go buy the rest of his supplies. He's in our year you know."

"Great, well, I have something important to tell you."

I tell him all about the Ally, and meeting Hagrid. But I leave out the part about the memory.

"Woah. That's wicked." James says when I finish.

"Yeah, I know. That place was so creepy."

"James, Aria?"

We turn just in time to see Mrs. Potter come out from around the corner.

"There you guys are, let's grab your books and then we can go buy your wands." She says and we follow her.

We get our books and wands, (at Ollivander's of course) and head home. But it was all I could do to keep my mind off the memory.
