Its been two weeks since we went to Diagon Ally, which is practically the equivalent of 2 weeks to dread myself and what they're going to do with me.

I'm going to Hogwarts tomorrow, and tonight, is going to be dreadful.

I'm sitting in my bed, playing chess with James.

"Checkmate." I say calmly.

James' mouth drops when he realizes what I did.

He's such a sore loser, he knocks most of the pieces off the board violently, causing him to fall off the stool he was perched on.

I laugh.

"You're lucky I'm go easily on you." James says.

I grin as he asks,

"In for another round?"

I sigh. I'm so tired I'm questioning if I'll be able to stay up another moment.

"Na." I say. "I'm a bit tired now."

He smiles sadly at me.

"Of course. See you later then."

Taking the chess board with him, he leaves my room.

I snuggle down under my blankets settling in to sleep.

But I can't sleep.

All I can think about is the horrific night that brought me to this state...
