"How did you do that?"
"Do what?" I ask, as Sev and I enter the Slytherin common room.
"Make Peeves listen you you."
"She made Peeves listen to her?"
We turn around to find who's talking. It's Lucius Malfoy.
He stands from the sofa and walks over.
"Peeves listened to you?" He asks.
"Yeah. He showed us the way back to the common room." I explain.
He laughs.
"Wait till Bellatrix hears this!"
"Wait till I hear what?" Growls a voice from behind us.
I whirl around.
Bellatrix and a few of the other older kids are standing there. They flood into the common room.
Bellatrix advances on me, growling softly.
"Where did you go you little blood traitor?" She snarls. "We came to give you a little visit down in the kitchens."
Severus was right. Narcissa was working with them to get us.
"Why, didn't you know? Narcissa brought us back up after we finished our snack." I say, innerly grinning, though I manage to keep a straight face.
Bellatrix turns to the group behind her, and Narcissa steps out.
Her face is much paler than before, and she's biting her lip in anticipation.
I gape are her. Severus was right. She was with them.
And pang of hurt and anger grabs my chest. She lied to me, and I trusted her.
