The next morning, is a blur. Snippets of moments, something good for breakfast, and a lot of pain.
The first thing I can truly distinguish is sitting in the back seat of a Ministry Car in between James and Molly.
And even after that, I'm standing in front of platforms 9 and 10.
Well, standing isn't the right word for it. Molly and my mother are practically carrying my between them. My head is throbbing, and I can barley see straight.
And then, we're through the barrier, and oh. Just seeing the train is enough to bring me slightly more into consciousness.
A gorgeous red steam train stands before me, and I can't take my eyes off it.
However, I don't get long to appreciate it's beauty though, we're already late.
Within a few moments I've said goodbye to my parents, and my brothers have helped me onto the train.
"I'm fine!" I cry as they steady me inside.
"Geez, fine. Oi jame! Take her for us!" Gideon calls to him, but I push away from James too.
"I can walk!"
"What's happening here?"
We turn to see Molly, already changed into her Hogwarts robes, her shiny prefects badge hanging from the front.
"Tell them to leave me alone," I tell her, "I'm not helpless!"
"She's got a point." Molly says, "It looks a bit suspicious with you two practically carrying her."
The twins let go of, sort of resentfully, which I must admit, was a very kind gesture, showing they don't discriminate against me, and just care about me as their sister, unlike many would.
Molly charges on with her prefect duties, which are more plentiful since she's in her 7th year, and head girl.
James and I make our way down the aisle, looking for an empty compartment, but I do tired easily, and keep tripping and stumbling, so it's no surprise when I fall into someone other than James.
"Are you ok?" I know that voice.
"Sirius!"
Oh no.
"How ya doin?" James asks excitedly and the two launch into a full on conversation, so full I think they've forgotten my presence. I steady myself by leaning against the wall.
"And of course ya know my best friend Aria, Aria?" He suddenly notices my weak condition and tells Sirius something along the lines of "Let's find a compartment."
I'm so weak that the best we can do is a compartment with two kids around our age in it.
The girl, has red hair and striking green eyes, while the boy, has black, greasy hair and oily skin.
"Can we....erm.....a....hi there." James stutters.
I glance up at him through the haze that is my world, and notice he's blushing.
It's that girl.
I am so teasing him about that later, when I'm stronger.
"What he means to say is, can we sit here?" I ask, as strongly as I can.
"Why of course." The girl says, moving closer to the window to make room, but the boy across from her looks apprehensively at us.
I purposely sit down next to the boy, so James will have no choice but sit next to the girl.
Once my rear hits the seat it's like heaven, and I feel like Iv never sat down before, that is, before Sirius sits down next to me.
"I'm Lily Evans." She introduces herself, "and this is Severus."
She motions to the boy.
"Aria Prewett." I say weakly, I flop my hand in what is supposed to be gesturing to James. "James Potter."
"Hi." He says weakly.
After this first introduction, I tune out the conversation, I'm just too tired to focus, but barely a few minute after we leave the station, the Lily and Severus stand up, and leave the compartment.
"What was that for?" I murmur.
He doesn't respond for a few moments, and then says,
"She's gorgeous you know."
Ahhh.
"Yes, simply radiant." I say sarcastically, but he doesn't seem to catch it.
"Her beauty isn't equaled anywhere in the world." Sirius says, and a laugh escapes my mouth, before I can stop it.
James, still doesn't see the sarcasm we both use. Instead he stares off into space, thinking about who knows what.
Not a minute later the door slides open and two more figures enter.
I vaguely hear James telling them to come in, and barely even acknowledge any other them people I until I hear,
"Hey, I saw you in my mother's shop!"
I look up and realize the two new boys, I know.
The one who just spoke is....what's his name.... Peter. The one from Mildreds shop.
And the other boy is the boy from Flourish and Blotts, who I accidentally knocked into.
"Say, I know you guys," I say, "Peter, and, well I don't know your name."
The bookshop boy looks tired, and worn out, scratches all other his face are more prominent, and there are huge bags under his eyes.
"Remus. Remus Lupin." He mutters weakly.
From then on, all of them talk, a lot. That is, except me and Remus, we are both too tired for this.
Soon we arrive at Hogwarts, I leave the compartment just to change my clothes, and when I return, we all begin to leave.
