__Scourge waited patiently for Sonic to get home. He was lying down on the couch with Buck lying on top of him. They were watching a movie on the T.V. There was a dramatic death scene with the main characters and Buck started whimpering. Scourge started giggling as he rubbed Buck's head. "Poor baby."
__The front door opened and closed. "I'm back!" Sonic called. He then looked at the couch and laughed. "Oh, you're right there."
__Scourge sat up and pushed Buck back a bit as he looked at Sonic. "Uh, Sonic?"
__Sonic walked over to the couch and leaned on it. He narrowed his eyes and grinned. "What?"
__"I may or may not have snooped through your closet," Scourge muttered.
__"Why were you in my closet!?" Sonic questioned. He then giggled and shook his head. "At least you're being honest."
__"Yeah...what's with the sword?" Scourge asked. "You told me Caliburn was a toy."
__Sonic's eyes grew wide. "Um...yeah, about that..."
__"Why do you even need a talking sword?"
__"Caliburn's my friend-slash-teacher," Sonic explained. "I keep him with me just in case."
__"How did you even obtain him?"
__"Long story. A sorceress named Merlina somehow brought me to her world and I had to use Caliburn to defeat the fake King Arthur," Sonic then groaned as he leaned his face closer to Scourge's. "There's more to it, but that'll take too long. Anyway, he's nothing you need to worry about. Did you um...tell him about us?"
__Scourge crossed his arms and flattened his ears. "I told him I was your beau and he said such things are punishable by death."
__"He's from the medieval times. He doesn't know anything," Sonic then started petting Buck. "Hi, baby!"
__Scourge moved Buck's head away from Sonic before he kissed him. He could feel Sonic's face move as he giggled. Scourge then pulled back and smirked. "I'm not feeling too tired tonight," He cooed.
__Sonic returned the smirk and started caressing Scourge's cheek ever so softly. "Neither am I."
__Scourge bit his tounge carefully as he led Sonic upstairs, leaving Buck to stare after them confusingly on the couch. Scourge shut the bedroom behind him and watched Sonic walk backwards slowly until he sat on the bed. Sonic still held his smirk while he narrowed his eyes. Scourge took a step forward and suddenly caught himself looking at Sonic's closet door. He then looked at Sonic with an uncomfortable feeling. "That sword won't hear us, right?"
__Sonic burst out laughing as he shook his head. "His slumber is deep. He won't hear a thing. The only thing that wakes him up is tapping him on the eye," Sonic then laid himself down he positioned his arms over his head. "Now get over here!"
__Scourge obeyed and placed himself over Sonic. He began kissing Sonic's neck and carefully rubbed his sides. He felt any tension that he harbored simply go away in an instant.__Scourge groaned as the sunlight delicately touch his eyelids. He kept his eyes closed as he wrapped his arm around the body next to him. The body he had touch felt more hairy than he anticipated, though. He opened his eyes and sighed when he saw Buck staring at him. "God dammit, Buck!" He sat up and pointed at the floor. "Down! Who said you could up here?"
__Buck held his head down as he hopped off the bed. He then turned to face Scourge and sat down.
__Scourge started rubbing his temples. Not what I wanted to wake up to after that night. He put his hand down and smiled at the dog. "Where's your daddy, Buck? Go find daddy!" He then hopped off the bed and followed Buck down the stairs and into the kitchen.
__Sonic was already making breakfast. He looked exhausted, though. His eyes were barely open, his ears were drooped, his fur was a mess, and his posture was improper. Sonic took a second to yawn before he continued his work. He didn't seem to notice Scourge and Buck.
__Scourge walked slowly over to Sonic and carefully hugged Sonic from behind. He then started rubbing his head against Sonic's. "You don't look so hot."
__"Just tired," Sonic muttered tiredly. "Woke up around five and couldn't be bothered to go back to sleep."
__Scourge looked at Sonic's neck and noticed he wasn't wearing the cyan bandana. "Where's that bandana?"
__"In the washing. That thing has to get clean once in a while."
__Scourge let go of Sonic and kissed his cheek. "You need me to do this for you while you get a bit of rest?"
__Sonic giggled and shook his head. "I'm fine, but thanks, love. After breakfast and a hot shower, I'll be fully awake."
__"If you say so," Scourge looked down at Buck and started rubbing his neck. "Do you need to go outside?"
__Buck barked joyfully and began running around in circles.
__"All right, let's go!" Scourge went to open the front door and watched Buck dash out of the house. Scourge glanced at Sonic once more before he followed the dog outside. He shut the door behind him and walked further out as he saw Buck smelling the ground as he walked around. He then looked over at the trees and squinted his eyes. He thought he was seeing things. He saw Sonic with his arms crossed and leaning on one of the trees. He kept his eyes narrowed as he looked at Scourge. "Sonic? When did you come out here?"
__He was about to step forward when Buck suddenly ran over to his side. His ears were flat and his fur was bushed out. He kept his head down as he barked and growled angrily at Sonic.
__Scourge then turned around when the front door opened. Sonic was standing there with one hand by his mouth. "Food's done!"
__"But how...!?" Scourge looked back at the tree, but that Sonic was gone. He looked back at Sonic at the front door and narrowed one eye. "Weren't you just at that tree?" He then pointed towards the woods.
__Sonic narrowed his eyes and shook his head. He seemed confused. "Get on back in. The food's gonna get cold." He then went back inside, leaving the door open.
__Scourge looked down at Buck. He was still growling and staring at the tree. That wasn't nothing if Buck saw it, too. What was that? He carefully grabbed Buck's collar and led him back into the house.
