Neutral Charges {Sequel/ Sonourge}

TEN

__As Scourge went through the other side of the portal, his right side slammed against a hard, cold wall. He kept himself from groaning as he tried to get up. His head began spinning as he was getting used to the No Zone's messed up gravity. He shook his head and realized he was back in the visitation room in Zone Jail. He could see some people at the visiting booths, and he immediately recognized Smalls, Al, and Cal. Scourge flattened his ears when Zector walked over to the wall and looked up at Scourge.
__"The hell you doin' here?" He asked. He then grabbed Scourge's arm and yanked him onto the floor. 
__"I need to have a little chat with Zonic," Scourge groaned as he stood up. "I'm getting into trouble with the moebians and I want to question him about it."
__"Zonic won't be here for another hour," Zector replied. "He and Zespio are currently resolving something in another zone."
__"Fuck!" Scourge growled. "I need to speak to him now!"
__"Tell me then," Zector said. "What's gotten into you?"
__Scourge tried ignoring Smalls' angry expression and Al and Cal's shocked faces as he replied. "What's this about an expensive fee for me living in the Prime Zone? The Suppression Squad is making a big deal out of this with the Freedom Fighters. They had me come back to Moebius just so they couldn't pay it off."
__Zector was quiet for a minute before he spoke again. "Ah, I see what's happening. You see, every zone has to have a Sonic and an Eggman. Since you're not technically a good Sonic, it doesn't affect your zone as much. But still our government doesn't tolerate this, so to have you live in another zone where there's already a Sonic isn't really okay. They were willing to let you stay if your zone paid this fee."
__"What the fuck, man!? Why is this happening now!?"
__"This was being discussed for a long time now and they agreed to this last month. I don't see why you're worried about this. It's Moebius that needs to worry about it."
__"Yeah, but like I said, they made me come back to that zone," Scourge explained. "They came to the Prime Zone yesterday morning and demanded that the Prime Zoners pay or I go back."
__"So, you went back then?" Zector tilted his head.
__Scourge flattened his ears and crossed his arms. "Well...yeah. But I planned on escaping anyhow. I wanted to see if this could be resolved."
__"That's between Mobius and Moebius," Zector said. "It's not like there's a set deadline. We expect that this will take years."
__"And what am I supposed to do?" Scourge sneered. "The Suppression Squad is gonna try to get me again once they realize I'm gone."
__Just then a portal appeared out of nowhere and Alicia and Miles were the ones to jump out of it. They both glared at Scourge as they managed to jump onto the floor.
__"Shit," Scourge muttered as he got closer to Zector.
__"Don't make this harder than it has to be!" Miles growled.
__"How did you even know I came here!?" Scourge questioned.
__"Buns sang like a bird when we threatened to shut down Kintobor's hospital," Alicia explained. "It wasn't that hard."
__"I'm not going back!" Scourge sneered.
__Zector pulled out a gun from his belt and cocked it, but he didn't aim it at anyone. "I'm gonna have to ask you two to leave."
__"Oh, you're asking us to leave but not Scourge!?" Alicia snapped. "What kind of sick joke is this!?"
__"Scourge and I are talking business," Was all Zector said.
__"Wow, Scourge," Miles said unenthusiastically. "You're seeking the Zone Cops for help now? What a chump."
__Scourge just narrowed his eyes and stayed quiet. He tightened his fists but he remained still. He didn't want to do anything he might regret. He was hoping now they would listen to Zector in a little bit.
__But Miles stepped forward a bit and stopped when Zector lifted up his gun. He kept his arms behind his back as he looked blandly at Scourge. "You've become soft, Scourge. You should be grateful that we would rather take you back than pay the fee. Why are you making this so difficult for yourself?"
__Scourge remained silent. He felt his anger boiling in his stomach, but he refused to do anything.
__Miles took notice of this and smirked as he shook his head. "You really think the Prime Zone is your home now?" He asked sarcastically. He then took another step forward. "How pathetic," He was able to stand in front of Scourge. "What makes you think you can live there without any consequences? You do realize that there are still people out there who hate you for who you are, don't you? And it's not just the Prime Zone either. Plus, how do you know those lovey-dubby Freedom Fighters actually care about you? I think they're just being nice so you won't feel so lonely."
__"Shut your mouth!" Scourge hissed. He felt his fists trembling as he glared into Miles' eyes.
__"Why?" Miles asked innocently. "Am I hurting your feelings? Face it, Scourge. There's no one left out there that really cares about you. The only person who ever showed the tiniest bit of kindness was your own father," Miles smirk grew bigger. "And you were responsible for your own loneliness."
__Scourge couldn't take it any longer. He snapped. He punched Miles in the face and pinned him onto the floor. He ignored Zector and Alicia's yelling as he began hitting Miles in the face. As he punched him repeatedly, cuts and bruises began forming on Miles' face. Scourge felt his anger intensify as Miles' words replayed in his head. "You stupid son of a bitch!"
__"Scourge! That's enough!" Zector then brought up the senses to grab Scourge and pull him away. His large arms were able to keep Scourge in place, but Scourge continued to try to break free from the grip. "Stop it already!"
__Alicia had immediately went over to Miles and helped him sit up. She examined his face and glared at Scourge.
__Scourge was able to calm himself down after he realized what he'd just done. He shut his eyes and started trembling in Zector's grip. "I'm sorry," He whispered.
__Zector set Scourge down and placed his hand on his shoulder. "Damn, Scourge. You really need to learn how to control this aggression."
__Alicia then stood up and continued to glare at Scourge as she pulled her whip out of her belt. "Bastard! You'll regret this!" She unraveled her whip and slapped it against the floor.
__Zector started backing up and he pulled on Scourge's arm to make him do the same. Alicia was about to leap forward when yet another portal opened. To Scourge's surprise, Buck was the one to jump through. He whimpered as he slammed against the wall before he hopped onto the floor. He shook his little head and saw Alicia about to attack Scourge. He then growled as he charged at her from behind and sinked his teeth into her right arm, pulling her down onto the ground. He continued to growl as Alicia began screaming.
__"Buck!" Scourge brought himself to run over to Alicia and grab Buck by his red collar. He started pulling him back with one hand while using the other to remove his mouth from Alicia's arm. After Alicia was free, Scourge pulled Buck all the way back until he was next to Zector again. Scourge then shook Buck a bit as he continued to growl. "Stop it!"
__Buck stopped growling and looked up at Scourge. His nose and mouth was covered in Alicia's blood, but he looked happy. When Scourge let go Buck immediately jumped on him, knocking him down, and started licking his face as he cried, spreading the blood onto him.
__"Buck, stop!" Scourge pushed Buck away and began wiping the blood off of his face. "What the fuck is wrong with you!?" Scourge glared at the brown and white border collie as he lowered his head. Scourge then saw that the portal Buck had come out from was still open. He stood up and flattened his ears when Sonic jumped through. "Oh no..."
__Alicia had scooted away while Sonic jumped onto the floor and stomped over to Scourge. Scourge tensed his shoulders when Zector moved away. He stared at Sonic worriedly. I'm gonna get it now.
__But Sonic had just wrapped his arms around Scourge and hugged him tightly. "Stupid idiot! I thought you were going o be there for days!"
__Scourge reluctantly hugged him back, ignoring Smalls' disgusted face. "Course not," He then pulled away and looked into Sonic's eyes. "Why are you here?"
__"I wanted to give these no zoners a piece of my mind!" Sonic replied. 
__"Too late. I already did."
__Sonic sighed in relief and his eyes went wide after he examined Scourge. "Scourge...what did you do?"
__Scourge examined the blood that stained his gloves. Miles' blood. Scourge groaned as he looked away. "Look at Miles."
__Sonic turned to look at Miles and he flattened his ears. He then saw Alicia's arm and looked worriedly at Buck. "No, Buck..." Buck's head went lower under Sonic's eyes.
__Zector finally walked over to Alicia and Miles and glared down at them. "Leave our zone now, unless you want more trouble."
__Alicia had stood up and glared at Sonic. "So you're just going to take him back!? We had an agreement!"
__Sonic crossed his arm as he looked at Alicia. "I didn't agree to anything. Scourge was the one that decided to go with you. Well, this time I'm not allowing him to go."
__Miles grunted as he stood up and he placed his hand on his bleeding face. "Prick!" He sneered at Sonic.
__"Watch it or I'll beat your ass again," Scourge growled as he stood next to Sonic.
__"You're a coward."
__"C'mon, Miles," Alicia said calmly. "They ain't worth it." She then threw a ring with her left hand and watched the ring grow bigger. She let Miles go first before she jumped through.
__Scourge let out a sigh before he flattened his ears under Sonic's angry expression. He looked away and groaned. "Go ahead."
__Sonic looked down at Buck. "Stay," Buck stopped moving at once. Sonic then looked back at Scourge and punched him in the stomach.
__Scourge was caught off guard as he collapsed onto his knees while he grasped his stomach. He groaned in pain as his ears drooped forward. "I didn't mean that hard!" He wailed.
__"That's what you get for throwing yourself away!" Sonic retorted. "Dont ever do that again!"
__"All right! All right!" Scourge managed to force himself to stand up. He shook his head and let go of his stomach as he looked at Sonic. "Sorry."
__"Better," Sonic then smiled and hugged Scourge again. "You were gone for only a day, but I couldn't stand it," He looked at Scourge and flattened his ears. "What did you do to Miles?"
__Scourge avoided eye contact. "I let him get to me," He muttered.
__"What did he say?"
__But Scourge shook his head. "Don't worry about it right now."
__Sonic started rubbing his finger on Scourge's cheek. "No cuts?"
__"Buck licked me after tearing into Al's arm."
__Sonic then looked at Zector. "So is everything settled with the fee?"
__"That's up to you and Moebius," Zector replied.
__Scourge finally brought himself to look at the visiting booths. Smalls, Al, and Cal were still staring at him in shock. Scourge paid no mind to Smalls, though. He was looking directly at Al and Cal, who both shared the same booth. He managed to smile as he crossed his arms. "I'll be damned. You guys aren't mad that I ditched you, are ya?"
__Al quickly shook his head and his tiny hat fell off. "Course not!"
__Cal had bent his knees so that he was the same height as Al. "We probably would've done the same to be honest."
__"Sure," Scourge didn't attempt to look at Smalls as he grabbed Sonic's hand. "Can we go home now? I'm literally starving."
__Sonic smiled as he nodded. He then narrowed his eyes when he looked at Smalls. His gentle smile turned into a smirk as he hugged Scourge again and this time pressing his lips against Scourge's. They heard the inmates gasping as Sonic pulled his head back. "Let's go." Sonic then pulled out a ring and threw it at the ground. He let Buck go first and jumped in after him.
__Scourge looked around the room once more. I really hope that's the end of it. He then jumped into the portal.
