Twenty Three

Genesis awoke with a smile on her face.

She snuggled closer to the warmth that was next to her, making her sigh in content. Her eyes then widen to reveal her mate beside her.

It wasn't the fact that he was half naked, she had already seen much of that last night. It was the fact that his eyes were closed as he breathed calmly, undisturbed.

Sleeping.

Ezra was sleeping.

'But he doesn't sleep' Genesis thought.

Genesis took her time as to not wake him up. She observed how he slept, how his nose twitched slightly and his arms tightened around her waist.

"You're so beautiful." She whispered as her finger tips trailed up his arm. She gasped when his hand went up to stop her movements, holding it firmly.

"I never thought I'd see the day." Ezra said groggily. His accent was thick and deep, making her almost miss what he said next. "My mate is a creep."

Genesis mouth flew open as his deep chuckle filled the air. She smiled shortly after, hitting his chest.

"I am not." She says, mocking her hurt. "I was just acknowledging how you sleep considering you never have."

"And the one time I do, you decide to be a creep." Ezra chuckles, finally opening his eyes. Genesis smiled at him as he did the same. He leaned in to kiss her forehead, making her blush.

"Good morning my love." Ezra greets.

Genesis stared at her mate, his elbows propped up as he laid on his side. She took the time to observe him. How his naturally neat hair was messy and tangled from her pulling and tugging at them. His lips pink and swollen from the many times they've kissed and his shoulders tattered with small nail marks from his mate.

Genesis was no different. Her entire body was covered in love bites. Her hair was messy and her innocence was now gone. She was deliciously sore from the feeling of him filling her, claiming her.

Last night, Ezra had kept his word. Not a single inch or curve from Genesis had go untouched. He had made sure to give her all of him. He made sure that she loved every minute that they had spent together. From the moment he first claimed her, right until she came to her highest peak.

In other words, Ezra made her feel entirely loved.

"Hi." Genesis greeted, smiling softly.

"I can't stay with you for the whole day today. But, I will be here for when you begin to vomit."

"Vomit?" She asks, surprised.

"Yes, you're going to have some side effects because you have Lycan blood within you now. It might take a toll on you that's why you might vomit or probably have a high fever." Ezra explained.

"Oh." Is all Genesis could say. "It's worth it."

"I'm glad that you are now apart of me." Ezra says softly, pushing the strands that had fallen into her face.

"Me too." She whispers, staring into his beautiful silver eyes. He leaned forward and gave her a peck on the lips, making her smile.

"Where are you going?" Genesis asked as he stood up, stretching his arms. His large back muscles rippled deliciously, making her bite her lips. He only had on pants, as Genesis had on his huge shirt that swallowed her petite form.

"To make you breakfast. Just like old times." Ezra says, winking at her before stepping out the door.
