The Next Day.

"Why don't you go get me the doctor so I can get out of here?" I said motioning my head towards the hospital door which was currently shut.

I was sat upon the hospital bed where I'd been forced to sit on for the past few hours. My knees were pressed to my chest as I hugged my arms around them. I just want to go home!

"Ma'am please you can't leave just yet." I shook my head at the nurse who I'd been arguing with for the past ten minute.

I pointed at the door, instantly regretting it as pain shot through my arm.

The bullet had been removed last night when I was transported in, and it was now wrapped in a bandage but it didn't stop it from hurting like hell.

"I don't care! I was due to leave hours ago. I want to go home, I am perfect fine. So go and get the fucking doctor." I said sternly to the poor small scared nurse.

"Please ma'am I can't-" There was a sudden knock on the door, the two of us turned to find it slowly opening.

Please let that be the damn doctor!

"Lavender?" My eyes widened as Brad stepped into my hospital room.

What the hell is he doing here?

I re-positioned myself, crossing my legs and tugging my sweater tighter around my body.

He stepped into the room, holding a bunch of flower?

"Just find me the doctor please." I nodded at the nurse, waving her off with my hand.

She left the room quickly and I motioned for Brad to come in. He awkwardly watched as the nurse left, giving me a questioning look.

Brad stepping closer to my bed, standing to the right of it.

"You know they're just doing their job right? You don't need to yell at them." Brad spoke softly.

I rolled my eyes and sighed.

"I've been here all day. I should have been dismissed at least three hours ago." I mumbled in response.

Brad took a seat on the edge of my bed, shyly passing me the bunch of flowers he had which happened to be red roses.

"Thank you," I smiled, lifted them to my nose to smell them, "They're beautiful." I placed them on the movable table that was sat beside my bed.

"Katherine told me you were here, said she heard of someone in her yoga class saying you'd been hurt?" I frowned, wanting to roll my eyes but I refrained myself.

It's more like the news had spread around the base and she now knew. Fantastic, I'll be the talk of the base.

"How'd you get to my room though?" I asked with a small frown.
