A Few Hours Later.
"Have you seen my black shoes, the fancy ones I usually use for work?!" I shook my head a little as I continued to brush my hair as I was in my closet, having just had a shower.
"You're in the cupboard above the refrigerator... I don't know why but they are!" I called back out to Brad was who in the living room I think.
He'd had a shower just before me, the two of us getting ready for our girls night and boys night.
"Thanks!" He called back out.
I finished brushing my hair, placing on my slippers to finish off my stylish 'I just woke up' look.
I was dressed in my pajamas as Dee and I were going to have a pajama party sleepover... I don't know but we're spending the night together like normal women in their twenties.
Brad was going out with some of his friends tonight as well, and was also currently getting ready to leave. He said he probably wouldn't be back until sometime in the morning but promised he'd be nice and quiet on the way in as no doubt Dee would be staying over.
You see after the- I'd say incident but who am I kidding it was a kiss- kiss earlier today, things have been weird between Brad and I. The car ride home was very quiet and very, very awkward.
I wanted to bring it up but like how?
Hey Brad you remember that kiss we shared back there, yeah I really liked it want to do it again?
Fuck no!
I couldn't say that to him.
I was confident but not that confident.
But he also didn't bring it up either. And surprisingly he actually wasn't being the most awkward one, I was.
I mean he's been acting the same honestly, except the playful manor was gone which quickly made me realize that, that was probably how we ended up kissing in the first place because we are very playful and flirty together.
Most people are like that right? When you have a friend who's a boy you annoy each other and also are playful with them right? Probably not.
God what have we gotten ourselves into?
I mean, thank god he's looking for an apartment because it's like I can't get away from him at the moment. Although I am clearly enjoying the company and cuddles especially from Jesse who's adorable, especially right now I just feel like I need space.
Anyway after the awkward car ride home, Brad immediately decided to take Jesse out for a run leaving me alone and more confused. I didn't argue and said I was going to work on some work stuff while he was gone.
