One Month Later.
"I swear if you splash me Brad I will... I will chop your balls off." I whispered the last part knowing the twins were stood either side of me on the rivers bank.
Brad was now stood opposite up, knee deep in the water of the lake.
It was another warm day. So we were out at the lake swimming again. The kids were in their swim suits, I in a bikini and Brad only in swim trunks.
"Yeah, yeah." Brad smiled at me, rolling his eyes a little.
He turned around in the water, giving me a few seconds to admire his bare back and his cute butt which looked amazing in those swim trunks... Before he dove into the water.
I placed our beach towels down on the sand, along with Brad's phone, before I sat down. Helped Brook put his inflatable arm bands on, like usual. Brad swam back to the shore, walking over and helping Lily put on her inflatable arms bands before he picked her up and walked back into the water.
When Brook was ready to go in the water I took off the long yellow dress that I was wearing, revealing my white bikini underneath. I picked him up and placed him on my hip, pulling along with my free arm, the small round kiddy blow up pool that Brad had brought and blown up up earlier.
I pulled it into the water, splashing some water into it before sitting Brook in it. This being a fun seat that they can sit in and play with the water in whilst being safe... And allowing Brad and I to swim freely every now and then.
I pulled Brook out into the water until we were waist deep. Brad approaching us with Lily's in his arms, also placing her in the kids pool.
I made sure that the two of them were okay and that Brad was watching them before I dived under the water. The water was cold by beautifully refreshing.
I resurfaced, pushing the hair out of my face as I swam back over to them. Smiling as Lily and Brook were splashing the water around, laughing at each other as they floated on the lake water.
I swam over to Brad, wrapping my arms around his shoulders as I smiled at him. He placed one hand on my waist as the other was on the kids pool. I gave him a couple of small pecks on the lips.
God I love this man.
I pulled away from Brad, watching as he played with the kids in the water. I treaded water as I watched them.
It's been one long month but in a good way.
It's been a whole month full of normality. Full of laughter and learning. Full of family and friends.
I've never been happier honestly.
Dee had moved out, but still visited pretty much everyday. Pete had gone back to London about three weeks ago. Holland was now training me every few days at the base because Pete was no longer here, which was a lot of fun honestly. And as for Brad, he's been amazing. I swear I fall more and more in love with him every day.
