Two Hours Later.
"Follow the light." Doctor Malek spoke.
I moved my eyes, following the light that was being shone into them for the second time today.
"Can I please go now?" I asked the doctor yet again.
I was now really impatient. I'd been sat on this hospital bed for at least an hour now having 'tests' done on me to make sure I was alright after the whole being drugged situation that had taken place hours earlier. All I wanted was to find Brad but it seemed everyone was fucking useless around here and wouldn't tell me anything!
The light was turned off so I could see again. Blinking as I looked at doc.
"I would like to see your blood test results before you leave Lavender-" I shook my head, cutting him off as I swung my legs over the hospital bed.
"You can tell me them another time. Right now, I need to find Brad so if you could let me go and tell me where he is that would be great."
Doc sighed, rubbing his eyes as clearly he was becoming frustrated as well.
"Look, we need to know what you were injected with so I can properly treat you and tell you what side effects will come with it-"
"I can walk and talk see!" I spoke waving my arms around, "I'm fine and felling back to normal so could you please just let me leave-"
And as though it was right on cue, there was a knock on the door. Doctor Malek, whom I have known for many years now as he is one of the four doctors we have associated with the organization that works in a local hospital, walked over to the door to answer it. He stepped out of the room for a moment, closing the door behind him as I awaited for him to come back in.
But of course he took way too long for my liking so I got more impatient and decided to take the heart rate monitor I had on off, and I disconnected the IV drip that they'd placed in my arm to give me fluids.
Doc returned after about two minutes, a straight look on his face until he saw what I'd done which caused him to frown.
"Are you serious?" He spoke as he walked over to me, I shrugged my shoulders causing him to let out a groan, "Whatever," He spoke while shaking his head, "The blood test couldn't determine to us what you'd been injected with. But we believe it was a mixture of things because didn't completely knock you out, as you were saying, but to physically paralyze you..." He shook his head and let out yet another sigh, "I don't know. But if you let us take some more blood we should know within a few more hours-"
"Look, I don't care. Please just let me go. I need to call Holland or Dee and find out where my kids are-ah is there any chance I could borrow your phone to do that?-"
"One of your agents is out in the waiting room with you kids. But your partner-"
