Four Hours Later.
I smiled as I looked down at the twins that were laid on Lavenders rather neatly made bed. The two of them were laying side by side as they peacefully slept.
I quickly pulled my phone from my pocket and took a photo of the two of them as I'd been doing nothing but taking photos and videos of them, soaking in every second that I got to spend being around them.
I slid my phone back into my pant pocket, carefully laying down beside my little boy, Brooklyn. Laying so I was basically laying in a half circle around them as I smiled at them.
We'd only brought the twins home a few hours ago, and man have those few hours already been so intense.
The twins had spent the past four hours crying, being fed, being burped and being rocked to sleep. Lavender finally had an hour to herself, so she was currently showering in the room next door. I knew I too needed a shower, but was happy to wait until Lavender gets out.
She'd been going on and on about how she felt so 'gross' and probably looked like she was 'homeless' and looks as though she'd 'tried every drug in the world'. I just nodded my head as she spoke, thinking the complete opposite thing.
She looked amazing. She was amazing.
There aren't enough words in the world that could describe how beautiful and strong that women is.
And sure I know I sound like some big idiot saying this but it's all true.
I love her so much.
I love her more and more every minute.
And I will continue to love her until the day I die, even if she'll never feel the same about me again.
Those seven months I spent away from her were excruciatingly painful. I know I sound like a massive idiot saying this but it's true. I missed her every single day, although he'd only spent s mere few months together, she'd made a big impact on my life. Who would have known I'd come to find my childhood best friend again all these years later... And fall in love with her.
