What A Night.
A Few Minutes Later.
I let out a deep laugh as Brad stumbled over a tree root as we were running through the forest to the left of our house.
I had no idea where we were going but Brad was leading the way.
He picked himself up from his stumble, flipping me off as we continued to walk through the trees and bush as his phone light was the only thing lighting the way. We were far enough away from the house that the lights did not light our way, but the music could still be faintly heard booming through the forest.
Brad slowed down, stepping beside me as he grabbed ahold of my hand. I wanted to turn and give him a confused look but my attention was caught by lights glowing in the distance.
Time seemed to slow down as we approached the small camp sight area that was being lit up by little fairy lights. I felt Brad's eyes on me as I let go of his hand and stepped closer towards the tent.
The small clearing was now taken up by a rather large grey tent, fairy lights strung up through the trees as a few little battery operated candles made a path towards the entrance of the tent as well as a few rose petals.
Oh my, look how pretty this is!
I couldn't stop staring at the set up. How did Brad have time to do this!?
My attention couldn't be taken away, not even when Brad grabbed ahold of my waist, placing his chin on my shoulder as he hugged me from behind.
"Do you like it?" He asked softly, the two of us rocking back and forth.
I was speechless, so all I could do was nod my head.
Like it? Do I like it? NO I FUCKING LOVE IT!
I felt Brad's lips pressing small gentle kisses along the side of my neck. Taking the breath out of my chest, I finally chose to speak.
"Y-Yes... I love it. Why-How-Who-" I couldn't put my thoughts into one sentence, earning a small laugh from Brad.
I turned around in his arms, placing my hands on his shoulders as I gave him a small smile.
"I put it together. I wanted one last surprise for today." I shook my head softly at him.
"The first surprise was amazing more than enough, but I won't argue with this," We both chuckled, "But you and the other boys told me that playing the instruments was just for fun and it didn't go anywhere-" Brad gave me a small smile as he nodded his head.
