Three Hours Later.
"Try Derek." I spoke as I continued to pace the small room.
"We have, it didn't work." Katherine sighed.
"Try Lester." I nodded.
"Nope, it's still incorrect." Dee replied.
"Try... Merlin." I spoke, trying to recall every name of every person I'd never hurt while on a mission.
Trying to recall ever name of every person I have ever met basically.
"Nope."
"Emma?"
"No."
"Astra?"
"No."
"Big dog?"
"Nope."
"Try and think, who have you taken something from?" Holland spoke as though that wasn't what I was thinking.
"I am!" I yelled a little too loudly, "Tell me, can you think of all names of people you've met while on a mission? Can you remember the name of every person you have ever killed?!" I hissed.
"Well no." Holland spoke rather timidly.
Everyone else's eyes avoiding looking at me.
I stopped pacing, placing my hands on the table that was sat in front of me with Katherine, Dee, Holland and Brad all stood behind it looking at my laptop.
We'd drove quickly from my place to the base where we met Katherine. Dee was able to partially open the email, which led us here.
No closer to opening the email which required an answer.
The question was so broad.
All it said was...
'Children have never been my thing, but yours sure are cute Lavender Rose. I think it's only fair that since you've taken something from me, that I got to take something from you. If you'd like a chance to get them back, think back a bit and tell me... What is my name?'
How the fuck are we supposed to answer that!?
I mean obviously the question was aimed towards me but like come on!
How the hell am I supposed to know the name of someone whom not only stole my children but whom I've also taken something from?
What am I not getting here?
I've killed hundreds of people maybe even thousands, lets be honest. I can't remember all of their damn names!
