The Next Day.

My brain awoke before the rest of my body did.

I mean I registered that I was awake, but my eyes refused to open at first.

My other senses were working thankfully. I could hear music softly playing in the background, along with someone humming. I could feel that I was laying down and a blanket was covering my body which felt heavier and a lot more painful then I last remembered.

Although my memory of what happened before I fell asleep, or rather passed out, took a few more seconds to kick in... I remembered never the less.

And that's when my eyes finally decided to comply with my brain and they finally opened. Cringing at the bright light, taking a little too long to adjust and realize where it was exactly that I was.

The white ceiling gave nothing away as I was laid on my back. So I slowly looked down at my body, seeing I was laying underneath a thin grey blanket on a couch.

Except it wasn't my couch.

And as I glanced around the room, looking at the dark yet mismatched furniture that was sat around the room.

I'm at Brad's house.

Why the fuck am I at his house!?

And how did I even get here!?

I threw the blanket off of my body, cringing at the pain that flooded through my body but mostly was coming from the left side of my head.

My hand rose to my head, feeling I had large band-aid stuck to the side of my head where the pain was coming from. I quickly came to realize it was probably from when I hit my head falling to the ground.

I lowered my hand as ever so slowly and carefully sat up on the edge of the couch. The room spinning a little before I felt somewhat normal again.

I swept the hair out of my face, looking around the room and looking into the kitchen. Unfortunately I didn't catch sight of anyone in the house, however I did hear humming coming from somewhere.

Thankfully Brad was no where in sight, however Jesse was sat out the back door looking in at me, and that made me feel uncomfortable.

My breathing picked up as I re-called the last events before I passed out. I closed my eyes as the thoughts flooded my mind.

The last being the one that stuck out the most.

Double A. He was laid on the floor bleeding. I need to find him.

I instantly heard footsteps coming from further in the house, getting closer to me so I decided to stand up because in all honestly I wanted to run.

Run as far away as possible from him right now.
