Three Day's Later.

"Mommy we finished luuuuunch." Lily whined from her chair at the dining table.

"Okay baby, hang on just a minute. I have more food." I replied, finishing the chopping of the carrots.

I quickly raced the vegetables over to the twins, placing half of them in front of Lily and the other half in front of Brook, seeing to satisfy them for the moment.

I walked back into the kitchen to clean my mess up, wondering when Brad was going to be back from his mission for today.

It had been three days since we had our big birthday bash. Neither of us wanting to leave the tent that next morning but we had to eventually. Making our way back into the house and back into reality as the second we opened the door we heard screams come from both Lily and Brook.

Lilly had a blood nose from running into Holland leg and Brook was crying because Lily was crying.

Kids hey.

We had to drive back into the reality of being parents... And proper functioning adults.

The twins quickly decided they were done with eating, helping them down and letting them run around as I washed up the dishes.

Silently wondering to myself what we could have for dinner tonight. Brad claimed to be on a mission and everyone else was busy today so not only was I left up to watching the twins on my own but I was left to think about dinner, do the washing up and cleaning, wondering why on earth I didn't just hired someone to clean for me.

Brook and Lily started fighting over who got to sit next to Fluff on the couch, and that's when I snapped. I was not spending the whole day inside listening to them fight.

So I threw (not literally) both of them into the car and off we were to the markets so not only were they entertained, I was actually getting my chores done as I searched for something to eat for dinner.

Thankfully they both calmed down on the car ride there, jumping into the shopping cart as they helped me pick out things to buy.

I managed to buy and plan our meals for the next three days, jumping back into the car after almost two hours of shopping with the twins who fell asleep two minutes into the car journey home.

I then had carefully transferred them from the car to the house when I got home, putting them in their beds as I silently prayed that they'd sleep for an hour or two so I could unpack the groceries, have a coffee or tea and just have five minutes to myself.

So I quietly walked back downstairs and unpacked the groceries as Fluff walked around my feet constantly tripping me over. I made myself a cup of coffee and finally sat down in the couch.
