It's been a month since I last hooked up with Evan and Gigi has not stopped harassing me about it. Drunk me tends to make irrational choices. Buck is one of them and I'm trying to leave that behind me but Gigi insists I hit him up. What she doesn't get is that I don't have his number nor did I want it.

"He's so hot and that birthmark on his left eye somehow makes him hotter!" She said to me right before I got out her car that night she picked me up from his place.

"Gigi why is it so hard for you to understand I don't want to be with anyone. Especially not Buck who is Los Angeles play boy. I've heard many stories about this man; a cocky firefighter who thinks he can get anyone but I won't be one of his victims. Besides, he's not even my type" I told her. I wish she'd stop asking me about him. It's getting annoying.

Things have been stressful lately. A good surgery is what I need right now. Dr. Russell recently let me watch in on his heart transplant and as usual the other interns gave me a hard time about it. They have this idea that I'm sleeping with him and that's why I'm getting in on all the good surgeries. Truth is they can't deal with how good I am. I was one of the best in my class and I didn't work this hard to be ordinary. I don't need to sleep around with my attending to get in on the good cases and they hate that. I have no doubt it's Savannah who's starting these crazy thoughts and putting them into everyone's head. Little do they know she's the one sleeping with the neurosurgeon Dr. Adam Ellis. Word is he's married but yet he's sleeping with an intern. Classic.

"They're crazy for thinking you're having sex with Russell just to get good surgeries. However, I do think he has a thing for you" Gigi taps her fingers on the counter. People are really losing their minds here.

"Seriously G?" I roll my eyes.
"He's an ass but he's the least ass to you. Have you not noticed it lately?" She tries to make a point. That doesn't mean anything. Maybe he finds me less annoying than everyone else but I don't think he has a thing for me. It would be completely inappropriate. Eh not really. I ignore my subconscious. She's ruthless and leads me to make the wrong choices.

"I believe that you're thinking too much into this. Now, what are you wearing to the Gala?" I try changing the subject. The hospital is hosting a Gala to help raise money to support families who have children with Autism Saturday night. Gigi narrows her eyes knowing my intention.

"Not sure yet."

"I haven't gone shopping yet for a dress. Do you want to come with me tomorrow morning?"

"Yes! I heard Savannah is wearing purple and that's my favorite color but I cannot show up wearing the same color as her so... no purple" Gigi pouts. I chuckle.

"We would look better in purple anyways" I say. Gigi agrees.

"Duh"

Amanda appears next to me all bubbly as she leans over on the counter. The nurse behind the counter gives us all an annoyed look. The nurses hate when we stand by the counter talking about our drama and things they don't care to hear about. But they sure love to gossip about it.

"Ladies" Amanda beams. She's in a very good mood today. Amanda is always upbeat but her smile is on another level today and I'm sure she's dying to spill whatever the reason behind it is. I adore her to death but sometimes she tends to overshare information.

"Amanda" Gigi and I say in unison. We do that a lot.

"Tyler asked me to be his date to the Gala!" Her eyes are filled with excitement. Now it makes sense.

Amanda has this huge crush on Tyler. It was obvious since day one. When Amanda told me, Gigi, Mazzey and god knows why she told Savannah, we all pretended to be shocked but it wasn't news to us. It also wasn't news when we found out Savannah tried hooking up with Tyler knowing Amanda likes him but she's a snake and does not care. I sometimes wonder why they even keep her around our group. She tries her hardest to kiss everyone's ass, talks badly about the other interns when they're not around and constantly wants attention from guys: spoken for or not. I despise her.
