Hey, if you're still up to meet up, my shift ends in 10 minutes!

   You stared at your message Sent 5 seconds ago.

Of course, I'm still up for it! I'll arrive in a couple of minutes. (⌐■ᴗ■)

   You couldn't help but grin at the message and the little emojicon he added.

How can he get any more adorable?

   Another mom and their child entered the store as you set down your phone.

"Hello! Let me know if you need help with anything!" You greeted cheerfully as the mom nodded at you. A seem-to-be-father was pacing in your store with multiple games in hand. He seemed to be conflicted about what to buy so you went up to go help him.

"Hello sir, do you need any help?"

   As a store employee, you were naturally an open person. So you didn't have any problem with offering others help without being asked.

"Oh um actually yeah, I do. D-Do you know what games kids like these days? My son's birthday is in a couple of days and I don't know what to get him," The dad admitted as he looked quite hopeless with all the games in his hands.

   You asked about the son's liking of games and you brought the dad around the store with a couple of games to choose from. You didn't notice Kenma walking in as you helped the dad pick out a new controller and a couple of games for his son.

   Kenma noticed that you looked really happy helping others with games. It made him take note of your love for games and how caring you were for others.

   The dad thanked you as he paid for the game and left the store. After you were done, you then noticed Kenma standing by some of the 'New Releases'.

"Hey, Kenma! Wait a second so I can go switch out!" You said with a small smile and a wave as the boy turned to you with a small smile. He nodded as he watched walk into the back and heard your muffled talking and after a while, another employee walked out with you.

   You had changed out of your work change and instead had on some casual clothes that made Kenma's heart start beating faster.

"Good luck on your date!" Your friend teased as you blushed a bit while waving her off.

"Sorry for the wait," You apologized as you walked next to Kenma and noticed the casual clothes he was wearing. You thought he looked so cute with his white shirt and a red jacket with white lining on it, matched with dark blue jeans.

"I-It's fine." He brushed off as you guys walked out of the shop and started down the streets.

"You um look really nice, by the way," Kenma mumbled as he took a shy glance towards you. 

   A blush started to crept up as you grin and looped your arm with his.

"Aww, thanks! You look great, too!" You grinned as you saw he turned a bright red.

   You noticed that Kenma wasn't much of a talking type so you decided to talk and carry the conversation between you two. You two entered one of your favorite cafe's and settled on a place to sit before going up to order.

"You know what you're gonna order?" You asked the boy next to you as both of your eyes were glued on the menu.

"Um, I'm not sure. What are you getting?" He asked as he briefly glanced at your figure.

"Oh I think I'm gonna get the iced mocha and some cheesecake," You answered (You can change it if you want) as you smiled at the boy next to you. He simply nodded at you as you guys were the next in line to order.

"Hello, how may I take your order?" The person at the cashier asked in a monotone voice as they had a bored look on their face.

   You ordered and wait for Kenma to order and as you went to hand the dude your money, Kenma quickly paid for the food as you looked at him in surprise.

   Kenma avoided eye contact with you as the both of you picked up your food and went to go sit down.

"Thanks for paying," You thanked as you guys sat as a two-person table, sitting across from each other.

   He gave you a small nod as he looked back at his drink. He thought it was a miracle how he made it this far without playing on his phone or DS Console.

Come on Kenma, what did Kuroo say to do again?

"H-How do you like your job?" You perked up at the boy's question and an instant smile came on your face.

"Oh, it's great! I just love helping others and having first dibs on new arrivals..." You continued on and on as Kenma smile a bit at your enthusiasm about your love for games. You guys got to know each other, well Kenma got to know you, but you still got some things about him.

   Before you knew it, a couple of hours passed and both of you were walking through a park. He found out that you went to Nekoma High School and were the same age and must have never noticed you because he was too busy playing on his games. And you learned for his passion for volleyball despite not talking that much about it.

"Hey, this was actually really fun. You wanna do it again sometime?" You asked the pudding head next to you as you guys walked around. Kenma's eyes widen as a smile tugged at his lips.

"Y-Yeah, I'd like that," Kenma said softly as he sent a smile at you with a nod.

Aww, I love his little smile, it's so cute!

   Multiple days passed and Kenma would visit you every day at the store. And on days where there was no volleyball practice, he would walk with you to the store and even stay for a while.

   If he didn't want to buy a game, he would usually stand next to you behind the counter and watch you work. You guys would sometimes talk about the games or just play some games when there were no customers.

   You were finishing taking care of a couple of friends buying some games when you noticed Kenma being a little more quiet and fidgety today. You quickly gave them their receipt and bid them goodbye. When you saw that there were no other customers, you turned towards the pudding head with concerned clearly written on your face.

"Hey, are you okay today?" You questioned as he looked at you, a bit surprised that you actually noticed.

   He simply nodded and muttered out an "I'm fine."

   You signed out a bit as you took a step close towards Kenma and put your hand on one of his shoulders.

"Hey, it's fine if you don't want to tell me, but just know I'll always be here for you," You said softly making a pink fill Kenma's cheeks. He avoided eye contact for a second before meeting your eyes.

"I like you," he mumbled shyly, a red creeping on both of your cheeks. Your hand traveled up and you cupped his cheek.

"I like you, too." You grinned when you felt him slightly lean into your touch. He reminded you slightly of a cat as he closed his eyes and a small smile rested on his lips.

"Be my girlfriend," Kenma mumbled as he hesitantly grabbed your waist and pulled you closer.

   You let out a small laugh as he opened his eyes to reveal his golden cat-like eyes.

"Of course, only if you be my boyfriend." You lightly brushed your thumb against Kenma's bottom lip making him let out a small squeal which you found adorable. He nodded at your previous statement as his cheeks warmed up even more.

"Can I?" You asked as your foreheads touched. He shyly nodded as you slowly leaned in and place a soft kiss against his. You tried not to smile too much as you felt him kiss back a bit and pulled away. 

   Your arms were around Kenma's neck as he buried his face into your neck. You softly laughed as you felt his breath against your neck, sending butterflies through your stomach. 

"Um ma'am, I need to return this game?"
