Car Accident - Daichi Sawamura

   You were L/N Y/N.

C R A S H

   Not that you knew anymore.

B E E P  B E E P     B E E P  B E E P

   You couldn't feel much other than pain. Mostly in the back of head as you felt a massive headache coming. You felt a couple of stings on your sides and on some of your legs and arms.

   You let out a small groan of pain as you tried to open your eyes, the light immediately rushing in.

"Y-Y/N?"

   That's when you started to register the sounds that surrounded you. The main one of a boy's sobbing and his rough voice as you slowly opened your eyes to meet someone's dark brown eyes who held tears.

Why is he crying? Who is he? Where am I?

"Y/N?"

   The word felt so foreign, yet so familiar as you said your own name.

"Who's Y/N?"

   You saw the boy's face fall as you noticed tears gather more in his eyes. He immediately hit the nurse button as he drew circles onto your hand that was in his.

Oh, when did that get there?

   You didn't have enough strength to pull away as you left your hand his hand. Your head was pounding as you winced at the sound of the door opening and closing.

"Oh, she's up. Do you feel okay?"

   You went to sit up but immediately fell with a noise of pain as you felt the pain in your head increase.

"Woah there, don't try to get up. Rest a bit," The new person who walked in said as they stood next to you. You couldn't move your head too much, but you could hear the faint beeping and the small sounds of typing.

"W-Where am I? What happened? Who are you guys?"

   You saw the person who just walked in, immediately start writing down your words and typed a few things on the computer that was nearby. You looked over to the person who was holding your hand as saw them try to smile despite the tears that escaped. 

   The sight pulled at your heartstrings, but you had no idea why.

"I'm Doctor Haruki. You are currently in the hospital. Alright, I'm gonna ask you some questions, okay? If you don't know, that's okay, just say that you don't know. Do you remember your own name?"

   You winced a bit as you tried to think.

Name? Ow, why does it hurt to think?

"Don't strain yourself, it's okay if you don't know," The person in the white coat said in a calm voice as they sat next to you in a chair.

"I-I don't know," You admitted as you avoided any eye contact.

   You got asked a couple of other questions that you all answered the same thing-

"I don't know."

   You felt the need to say sorry after every time you answered, but the person next to you said that you didn't need to. You were told that you were L/N Y/N, what age you were, and what school you went too and all that.

   After some time of some talking, Doctor Haruki went out of the room before walking in with two other people.

Oh, they look so familiar. But who are they?

"Hey sweetie, are you feeling okay?"

   Both of them looked near tears as they stood next to the bed, the woman brushing a strand of hair out of your face.

"Y-Yeah, I think so." You managed to muster a weak smile as the doctor came in to talk.

   You were informed that the two people were your parents. But you still didn't know who the guy holding your hand was.

   After some talking, your parents kissed your forehead goodbye and said that they'll come and visit tomorrow.

"Hey Daichi, you don't need to stay. Go home and rest, you've been here long enough. Come back later when you've refreshed."

Daichi?

   The boy next to you nodded as he tried to smile at your parents. Your parents waved one last time before walking out with the doctor, leaving you alone with the boy.

"Daichi? That sounds so familiar, but I don't know why!" You felt angry with yourself. You couldn't remember anything! You didn't even know that you were currently tugging at your hair as you heard the boy softly chuckle.

"Hey, it's fine. Calm down, don't work yourself up too much." The boy's voice instantly made you calm down as he gently pried your hands out of your hair.

   You studied his face, noticing the small details that made him so familiar and attractive.

Daichi... I think I remember something about him being nice looking. Well, obviously.

   You noticed his red cheeks and quickly looked away, realizing that you probably have been staring for too long.

"Sorry," You quietly chuckled as you took a quick glance at the boy.

"It's fine."

   You let out a small yawn which Daichi smiled at.

"I'll be going now, I'll come back soon. Don't worry." The boy's hand slipped out of yours as he started to get.

"Wait. C-Can you stay until I fall asleep? Well, you don't have to, but-"

   He cut you off with his light laughter as he tried discretely wipe any of his remaining tears.

"Of course."
