Bike - Shouyou Hinata

I'm a little late, but I can't believe the manga ended!!!

So I tried to be aesthetic with this one but failed so basically did whatever lmao. But I hope you guys still like it! o.O

"Race ya!"

   A mixture of your and Hinata's giggles were heard as the two of you biked carelessly down the street, a matching grin on both of your faces. The two of you were childhood friends, his outgoing attitude and the fact that you two were neighbors made it easy to get along with each other.

"Hmm? Shou?" 

   You tilted your head a bit as Hinata's bike skidded to a stop, his eyes glued onto a tv streaming a volleyball game. Hinata had a look of awe on his face as he watched the short yet skilled player jump into the air.

"I want to fly."

"Shou! Wait up!"

   After many days of begging and bribing, you finally agreed to go to Karasuno with Hinata, and couldn't help but smile at the happy grin on his face.

"Wait up, you idiot!"

   But now you were starting to regret your decision, seeing the distance you and Hinata had to cover in order to get to the school.

"Sorry, Y/N. I'm just really excited!" Hinata exclaimed, pumping his fist into the air as he rode circles around you with a grin as to prove his point.

"Alright, show-off. I get it," You said with playful eye roll, watching as Hinata recklessly rode his bike with one hand, smiling a bit as his laughter met your ears. Your bike slowed a bit as you watched your childhood best friend ride in front of you with a carefree smile.

That idiot. How am I attracted to him?   You thought with a fond smile, quickening your pace once again when Hinata's laughter and taunts snapped you out of your thoughts.

"Hurry up, slow-poke!"

"Shut up, shorty!"

"What do you mean you lost your bike?"

   You were very tempted to smack your best friend if it weren't for the fact that he had a volleyball match is half an hour and he was still at school without a bike.

   You were preparing to start heading your way towards the place when Hinata had managed to wave you down with his incredible jumps, claiming that he couldn't find his bike.

"I don't know! It wasn't there where I left it!" Hinata exclaimed, panic written all over his face.

This idiot.

   You sighed as you scooted up a bit in your seat, signaling him to get on.

"Come on, let's hope we don't get pulled over."

This is such a bad idea.

   Once Hinata was on and secure (well as secure as you could get on a single-rider bike), you started pedaling towards the gymnasium, trying not to focus too much on Hinata's hands that were around you to make sure he doesn't fall off.

   Or the fact that your heart had skipped a beat when he had tightened his grip just a little bit when you had rode over a bump.

   Nope.

~ Meanwhile ~

"Hey, has anyone seen Hinata?" Suga asked, looking around as the others shook their.

"Come to think of it, I haven't," Daichi replied with a small hint of a frown, wondering where he was. Almost like they planned it, all the members glanced at Kageyama who shrugged.

"Baka said something about losing his bike or something," Kageyama answered, taking another sip of his yogurt while the others just sighed.

"That idiot, no wonder he can't survive without L/N-san," Suga said while shaking his head, almost in a mom-like way as Noya and Tanaka snickered at his comment.

"Yeah, it's almost like he has a crush on her," Noya commented with a stifled giggle at the end, Tanaka and Noya grinning at each other. Suga simply shook his head at the two, about to scowled them when Hinata had bursted in with you behind him.

"Sorry! I lost my bike so I had to get a ride with Y/N!" Hinata had quickly squeaked out, bowing at Suga and Daichi who simply gave you an apologetic smile which you shook off.

"Shouyou! Why is your face so red, hmm? Is it because you were with Y/- hey!" 

   Noya was cut off from his teasing when Suga had flicked him on his head, causing Hinata to squeak out incoherent words in an attempt to cover his extremely red cheeks. During the ride, Hinata was thankful that you couldn't see his flustered face and even if you did, he could blame it on wind or something.

   But now? What was he supposed to blame it on, the fact that he actually had a crush on you? Of course not, that would just be-

"NOYA'S RIGHT!"

   Everyone froze at Hinata's sudden confession, a thousand thoughts suddenly swirling your mind.

W-Wait, did- did he just-

   But before you could voice one of your thoughts, Hinata had already started walking away, leaving you confused and happy.

"W-Wait!"

   But Hinata was already off, leaving Suga to shake his head for the umpteen time that day.

"That boy is a mess. I wish we could give you time to talk, but we have warms up in a few. Talk to after, yeah?"

   You nodded while saying a thanks, making your ways towards the stands with a small smile starting to tug at your lips.

Hinata likes me.

Come on, come on, just win already!

   You couldn't focus as you watched Karasuno play against some other team you didn't bother glancing at. You were way too impatient and happy to actually pay attention to the match.

"Karasuno wins!"

   You grinned when you heard those words, rushing down the stairs with a pep in your step, planning on getting to Hinata before he tried to run off from embarrassment from before.

"Shou! Wait!"

   Perfect, Hinata froze from his place, making a bee-line towards the bathroom before he got stopped by you. You opened your mouth to answer his confession, but was stop when Hinata had started to spew excuses.

"I'm sorry! I swear I didn't mean it! I mean I did, but I didn't mean to say it then and I'm sorry if I-"

   Hinata was quickly cut off when you had pulled him closer by the front of his shirt, shutting him up by connecting your lips together. A few seconds past by before Hinata got over his shock, melting into the kiss as his lips twitched to a small smile.

   Both of your faces were red and your hearts were beating in sync when you had pulled away, a matching smile on your face.

"Go out with me?"

"Of course, baka."

   It was then realized later that Hinata's bike at the other side of gym, instead of where he usual placed it.

   You love that idiot.
