Jotaro slides the door open to reveal Joseph and Avdol having tea. As they both see Jotaro carrying Kakyoin, they both rush to get up and assist him.

"Jotaro, who's this?" Joseph asks to which Y/n replies.

"An enemy stand user sent by Dio to kill us." She says.

They hurriedly take Kakyoin to Y/n's room, since she offered it up, and laid him down on the floor.

"It's too late for him. He's not going to make it, meaning he'll die in the coming days. It's neither of your faults. The reason this man swore loyalty to Dio and came to kill you was because of this!" Joseph moved Kakyoin's hair and revealed what looked to be a small growth coming out of his forehead.

"W-What is that?" Y/n stuttered.

"It's like a spider like growth? You said that's the reason he swore loyalty to Dio?" Jotaro grew somewhat nervous as Y/n saw him sweat a bit.

"That's a flesh bud, formed from Dio's own cells. It connects to his brain. This tiny flesh bud was implanted in his brain to influence his mind." Avdol states.

"In other words, that flesh bud is a controller that draws forth certain feelings. Charisma! The feelings that make soldiers want to obey dictators! The feelings that make true believers follow cult leaders!" Joseph stands up and shouts as he then points to Kakyoin before continuing,

"This young man admired Dio and swore loyalty to him!"

"How do you know all of this Mr. Joestar?"
Y/n questions. Joseph sits down as he looks at her.

"Dio is a charismatic figure, which means he can sway others, with his overwhelming powers of attraction. He used that to order this young man, called Kakyoin, to kill you both." He explained.

Jotaro looks up towards his grandfather as he says, "So, operate on him and remove it."

Mr. Joestar was quick to respond to his grandsons comment. "The brain is very delicate. If he moves while we're extracting it, we could inflict brain damage." He finishes.

Jotaro stares at Kakyoin intently as Avdol speaks up, "Jojo, the following happened four months ago in Cairo, Egypt." Avdol stares intently before finishing, "I met Dio!"

"You did?" Y/n was intrigued at the fact that Avdol met Dio, face-to-face, and was able to live to tell about it. Though she had a general idea of what Dio was like, she would soon come to learn how deadly he could be.

"I am a fortune teller by trade. I have a shop in a souk called Khan el-Khalili. It was a night of a full moon. He... stood quietly on the stairs that led up to my shop's second floor. His cold gaze felt as if it was trying to stealthily pierce my heart." Avdol seemed almost traumatized as he continued.

"His golden hair, his near-transparent alabaster skin, and his strange sensuality made it hard to believe he was a man. I had heard about him from Mr. Joestar, so I knew immediately that he was Dio back from the Atlantic's depths!" He paused again.

"It was then that I found him truly terrifying. His words brought such peace to my soul. They had such a dangerous sweetness. That's exactly why he was terrifying! I ran for my life. I didn't dare think of fighting him. I was very lucky. Because I had heard about Dio and realized it was him, I was able to immediately jump out the window. I knew the labyrinth of the marketplace like the back of my hand, so I was able to escape. Otherwise I would have ended up like this young man, made into one of his followers through a flesh bud." He finished.
