Those hours on the train had felt as like a blur as soon enough the crusaders were on a small boat, heading towards India. As the hours had dwindled down, they all had their fair share of conversing, each talking about their own interests and aspirations.
"Hey Kakyoin, are you naturally a redhead?" As time between them grown, Y/n had finally gotten the courage to ask about certain things that had always been on her mind.
Kakyoin looked at his loose curl slightly before smiling at her. "Yes." he replied.
"And even those purple eyes? I mean, they're so bright and shiny! And the color is really nice too." she continued on a ramble about his character as he noticed the way she talked about him.
She then abruptly stopped herself. "Sorry, I have a habit of rambling." she said, apologetically.
"Oh, it's fine. I guess I am different, though I've never given my appearance much thought." he replied. At this time, however, Polnareff decided to find his way into the conversation and fish for some compliments.
"What about me, Mademoiselle? Anything about me that you seem to enjoy?" he smiled with pride as he stood up tall. His chest popping out to enhance his muscles as he flexed slightly. All the crusaders chuckled as Y/n tried to keep her laugh in as she responded.
"Well, nothing really catches my eye but I do like your hair." he then starts to explain his hair routine and how he forms it into the shape he has.
She interrupts him mid sentence. "I'm really intrigued with how you get your hair to look that way but I was really talking about the color." Polnareff then sweats a bit as he stutters, trying to find the right words to respond with.
Joseph then saves him from embarrassment as he starts to talk about his concerns while traveling to India. "I'm a little bit worried. I mean is there anywhere to get a cheeseburger there? I always heard that India is the land of curry, disease and too many people."
"I know. I'm worried that my stomach won't be able to handle the culture gap." Polnareff states boldly.
Avdol laughs a bit before answering their concerns. "That assessment is rather distorted."
"And racist." Y/n mumbles. Kakyoin holds in a laugh.
"Don't worry. It's a country of extraordinary people. That I assure you my friends." Avdol gives them all a hard smile as the boat rocks a bit, signalling that it has officially been docked. He opens the door as he guides everyone out.
As soon as they got out, they were instantly bombarded with multiple people asking them for money or offering to carry their belongings. Overall, they were just stuck in a giant crowd. Y/n felt extremely uncomfortable as people started to touch her and her friends.
She felt hands on her backpack and everywhere else as she started to feel anxious. Jotaro noticed this as he grabbed her by the shoulder and pulled her into the middle, where she was surrounded by her friends.
