Chapter 2: New School and New Friends

Kristen's POV 

It's my first day to school so I took a shower. I wore a red hoodie and black skinny jeans. I tied my hair to a ponytail and put my black Vans. I went downstairs and I smelled some food. Yum. Waffles. I hugged my dad and took a piece of waffle. "Kris, I'm going to send you there." Dave said. "Uh, I'll go by myself." I replied. "No, you don't know where that school is." Dave said. "I can use my GPS?" I said. "No, you can't honey. It will be dangerous." my dad said. "Dad, you said, I'm a big girl right now and not a 5 years old kid. I will be okay." I said. "Okay, be careful. Pray before you go." my dad said. We both laughed and so do Dave. "Okay, dad. Bye! Love you!" I replied. I took my phone and clicked GPS. "Oh ya, there is it. Chino Hills High School." I said to myself. 

I was walking and someone grabbed my shoulders. I looked back and it was Cameron. "Morning, beautiful." he said. He called me beautiful. It made me feel beautiful. "Hi." I said silently. "To school today, huh? Where?" he asked. "Um, yes. Chino Hills High School." I answered. "Wow, same!" he said. I chuckled a bit. 

We made it to school and we laughed together along the way to school. He's the funniest and sweetest guy I've ever met. "Here we are." he said. I looked at the school and it had lots of students. "Mr. Dallas!" an woman called him. "Uh-oh." he said. "I better be going. Sorry, beautiful." he said. He called me beautiful. Again. My face was red and there were butterflies in my stomach. I entered my class and I sat beside a blonde girl. She's beautiful. "Hi, there. New kid?" she asked. "Yes." I answered. "I'm Stacie Bridgen. What's yours?" she questioned. "Kristen Edward from New York." I replied. Cameron entered the class he looked messy but still cute. He waved at me and I did back. Stacie gave me the 'the look of your friend when you finally met your crush' face. "We're not even dating." I said and I laughed. She talked a lot about this school and we get to know each other better. We exchanged numbers too.

"Good morning, class." the teacher said. "We have a new student here, class. Miss Edward, you may introduce yourself. I stand and went to Mr. Robert. "Hi everyone, I'm Kristen. Call me Kristy and I'm from New York." I said. I looked into Cameron's face and he winked at me. Wow, that was creepy. "Okay, thank you, Miss Edward." Mr. Robert said. I nodded my head and sat on my place. 

The first period was English and the second was Mathematic. I wasn't at the same class with Stacie on the second period so I'm a bit nervous. I took my place and a man with blonde hair sat next to me. "Hi." he said. I gave him a little smile. "I'm Liam. Liam Davis." he said. Liam? Liam Davis? The guy who cheated on me 3 years ago?! How could he be here? "I think I know you. I think I saw you somewhere a long ago." he said. "No, you don't. I just got here." I replied. "Oh. Maybe just my imagination." he said. H-how could he be here?! Wow, this world's upside down. After Math, I went out and went to other classes. 

"Last period is done." I said to myself. I felt like someone grabbed my shoulder and it was Liam. "You were my girlfriend at New York, right? Am I right? You're Kristen Edward. My ex-girlfriend! Oh, I miss you so much. I moved here with my parents 2 years ago. I'm sorry I dumped you before this. " he said. He hugged me tightly and suddenly Cameron pulled him and he punched him in the face. "Who are you hugging my girfriend?!" Cameron yelled at him and he claimed I'm his girlfriend. This boy is creepy. He grabbed my wrist and brought me out. "I love you, Kristy!" Liam said. Cameron rolled his eyes.

"Morning, beautiful." 

"I'm sorry, beautiful." 

"Who are you hugging my girlfriend?!" 

These words keep repeating in my mind. He called me beautiful 2 times. He winked at me. He claimed that I'm his girlfriend. What's going on? "Hey, I'm sorry about just now." He said. I just nodded my head. We walked together to our house without talking.
