I hope you're all fine in quarantine :)

Alessa's POV
After the incident in the Quidditch World Cup, Avery Manor has been very quiet. Most of the time, Father and Mother went to Malfoy Manor to discuss 'classified' information. Draco and I spent the next few days in the Zabini's or Greengrass' Manors, just not at ours, where the meetings were held. The Zabini and Greengrass family were not death eaters, but they did help fund their attacks. This particular day, we were all playing quidditch in my garden, except Daphne, who was painting some flowers. Her delicate figure relaxed as she painted out her emotions.

"Merlin, mate!" Blaise caught the quaffle Draco threw. "You don't have to throw so goddamn hard."

"You're just weak, Blaise." Draco groaned.

"Am not!" Blaise argued, flexing his arms. His dark model-like features glinting in the sun. "See this? These are muscles Draco."

"I don't see anything!" I shouted zooming past Blaise, snatching the quaffle from his grip.

"Hey! That's not fair!" He yelled, racing after me. I threw the quaffle to Draco back and forth, annoying Blaise who was trying to get the quaffle.

Draco laughed, "Go Blaise!"

"I swear, sometimes I think you two are against me!" Blaise complained sarcastically.

"Oh, Blaise," I said, faking pity, "here, have it." I reached out my hand with the quaffle. He looked hesitant for a while before racing towards me. Just before reaching me, I dropped the quaffle to where Draco was waiting. Blaise expected it and intercepted it with ease. I groaned in dismay.

"Think you're so smart, Lessa?" Blaise teased, tossing the quaffle in his hands. "You give yourself too much credit."

"GUYS!" Daphne shouted from the gazebo.

"YEAH?" I yelled from the sky.

"COME LOOK AT THIS." We all descended and hopped off our brooms, curious to what Daphne wanted to show us. She was all happy and jumping around. Her strikingly soft features scrunched up in joy. "Look at what i can do!" She squealed. She pointed her wand at one of her paintbrushes and muttered a spell. The paintbrush turned into a frog. She looked back at us giggling to herself.

"Can't first years do- OW?" Draco glared at me, holding his shin that I just kicked. I glared back, don't you dare.

"That's great Daphne!" I smiled. "You've practiced." She wasn't particularly good in transfiguration or charms, but was blessed by Merlin with herbology and potion skills. "Have you tried maybe, Expelliarmus?"

"Yeah," she laughed, "to Blaise."

Blaise looked uncomfortable, maybe even a little scared. "You're not going to try again are you?" He mumbled.

"Why is Blaise scared?" Draco sniggered. "What happened?"

"Well, I tried casting the spell, I may have accidentally aimed at his head." Daphne was holding her stomach shaking from laughter. "He fell on my bedframe and hit his head again."

"It hurt, Daph!" Blaise pouted, rubbing his head. We were roaring in laughter, except for Blaise who was cursing at Daphne.

When we had calmed down, I realized something."What were you doing in your room?" I raised an eyebrow. "All alone." Blaise and Daphne, who were tomato red, shared a look.

"Were you shagging?!" Draco shouted so loudly the whole manor would have heard it.

"No!" Both of them shouted at the same time. I was shaking in laughter as I watched the whole thing unfold in front of me.
