Daphne and I walked out of the classroom, looking around for Nathan.

"What's our next class?" I asked.

"Astronomy." Daphne answered.

"We can be a little late."

We were walking towards the astronomy class when I suddenly saw his dark black hair.

"There!" I whisper-shouted.

I tapped Nathan's shoulder from behind, as he was talking to his friend. He turned around, making eye contact with me. He smirked slightly, an evil smirk that had all the bad intentions.

"Uh, hey, Nathan." I said nervously.

"Avery." He raised an eyebrow.

"Alessa here would like to ask you if that offer for tour guide is still open." Daphne cut in.

"I'm sorry for the way I lashed out. It was unprofessional." I said.

"Of course." He smiled. "I'd love to spend some time with you. Alone" He winked.

I nodded at Daphne, indicating that she should leave, but hide somewhere to make sure I'm okay. I reminded myself to play it cool and flirt back. Be confident, like Draco.

"I'll meet you in the library." I stepped closer to him. "After curfew." I whispered. I bit my lip to stop it from shaking.

He looked down at me and cornered me on the wall, smirking. "I love the way you think." His lips were touching my cheek.

I shivered, but kept my sanity. He was leaning in for a kiss, I tried not to panic and pressed myself flat to the wall, as far from him as I possibly could. I put a finger to his lips and forced a smirk.

"Later."

Nathan removed his hands from the wall and raised an eyebrow, "Playing hard to get I see. You'll get it." He growled softly.

I strained a smile at him and swiftly walked back to class. I didn't see Daphne anywhere waiting for me so I assumed she had already went to class.

I opened the door to astronomy, Professor Trelawney was drinking from a cup. I took my seat beside Daphne, and in front of Draco.

"Astronomy's a bunch of bullshit." Blaise complained.

"Remember when Potter got the grim." Draco said in a mock scared voice.

"Yeah, wonder how Potter is still living." Daphne added.

"Wouldn't anyone think Voldy's got to him already?" Blaise leaned back.

I flinched. "He's not patient." I mumbled.

"Maybe Potter's going to die this year." Draco said. "I'll bet you fifty galleons he dies this year."

"Deal." I decided immediately. Draco's horrible at making bets.

"Hey Potter!" Draco shouted across the room. "Die this year yeah? I've already made a bet with Les." Potter looked angry, disgusted, and something else. Don looked upset, as usual. Pansy, who had just came in, fawned over Draco saying what a good joke that was.

"Go away! You're getting dirt on my shirt." Draco brushed himself, irritated.

I stood up and held Draco's face and in a baby voice, "Oh, Draco, are you alright?" I made sure Pansy saw my sweater with Draco's initials embroidered on the left corner.

She definitely saw it and gasped in disgust (?) but it was probably her normal face.

"Like my sweater?" I grinned nastily.

She huffed. "You'll get it Avery, just you wait." She practically screamed before walking back to her seat.

"God that pug!" Daphne groaned. "I had to leave you with Fairmont alone because she was all up my business. You're okay right by the way?" She was suddenly worried.

"Yes, we agreed to meet in The library after curfew." I said nervously.

"Mate, that's where you wanted to shag-" Blaise flinched and held his foot, muttering curses.

"Settle down." Professor Trelawney said. "Today we will be studying crystal balls." The whole class groaned in boredom.

"Thank Merlin that's done." Draco said.

"Let's see the cup!" Daphne squealed.

"Sure." I answered lazily. We headed towards the room where the Goblet of Fire was kept. There were a decent amount of people there, mostly girls who were giggling at Cedric Diggory, who had just placed his name on the cup. Then went Krum, and a few other brave people. Even Fleur Delacour placed her name in it. Her friend beside her was the girl flirting with Draco on sorting day. She gave him a wink which made me glare at her.

"Jealous much?" Blaise teased.

"Shut up." I murmured.

At that moment, Nathan grandly went inside the room to put his name in the Goblet. He gestured at me to follow him outside. I looked at my friends, worried and nervous. They gave me assuring looks, except Draco. He was trying but failing miserably, he looked distressed. I rushed outside, not wanting to be suspicious. He was standing behind a column in the corner.

He was waiting calmly. He was actually handsome, except for the fact that he harassed many girls and that I may fall into his trap anytime. But we had a plan, a foolproof plan.

"Hey." I said, drawing his attention.

"Lessa." he smiled, backing me up on the wall. "Poor, poor Lessa." He said caressing my cheek.

"W-what?" I stuttered, confused.

"You're so beautiful." he started to press harder on my cheek. "I'm so sorry I have to do this." He said bending down to my eye level. "So beautiful."

I fumbled for my wand, but bring so nervous made me unable to grab it.

"Looking for this?" He asked, holding my wand out of reach. His hand went down to my throat. I thought he was going to choke me, but he pushed the back of my neck towards him. He was about to lean in when I kicked him where the sun does not shine, hard.

He doubled over in pain, giving me some time to run away. I screamed when he got hold of my arm. He silenced me with a spell and held me by the throat to the wall.

"You won't be doing anything for a while." He snarled at me.

I felt tears streaming down my face as he cast a spell. I felt like my bones we're being broken and I opened my mouth to scream but no sound came out. The pain suddenly stopped, making me fall down. He hit my head with something hard and I felt something wet trickle down my neck. Nathan threw me over his shoulder as my vision started to blur.

"That's too bad." He whispered softly. "I liked it better when you were screaming."
