"First of all," Dumbledore started, "it is my greatest pleasure to announce that Hogwarts will host the Triwizard Tournament this year." Murmurs and shouts scattered along the hall.

"The Triwizard Tournament." I said, beaming. "It's going to be so cool!" I shook Draco by the shoulders, completely forgetting about Pansy. He just gave a small smile at me.

Dumbledore continued his announcement on how the tournament would unfold. It was very dangerous, apparently, and was discontinued as the death toll rose far too high. It has been brought back as now, the tasks do not involve too much danger or death. Three champions, one from Hogwarts, Beaubatons, and Durmstrang. Three tasks.

"And now, we would love to introduce, the lovely students from Beaubatons!" Dumbledore applauded.

A large carriage appeared out of nowhere, carried by Pegasuses.

"Talk about grand entrance." Daphne mumbled.

The Headmaster of Beaubatons stepped out, a large yet elegant lady. Behind her, girls wearing periwinkle blue uniforms stepped out. As they walked past the tables, boys stared. When they sighed, blue butterflies appeared around them.

"Veela." I scowled, looking at Draco's entranced expression. "Hey!" I punched his shoulder.

"What?" He asked, snapping out of his gaze.

"Stop looking." I annoyingly mumbled. He looked at me with a confused expression that turned into a smirk.

"Are you j-"

"Don't." I growled. Daphne was having the same problem with Blaise, them having a small argument on why Blaise was staring at that one blonde girl.

"Daph! No I wasn't-"

"Don't you dare deny it, Blaise!" Daphne snapped. "I saw it with my own two eyes!"

After the girls were done, there was a quiet, rythmic thumping on the ground. We all looked at the doors. The doors flew open and tall burly men went in. Their Headmaster looked creepy. The men (?teenage boys?) stomped their staffs on the floor and did some cool tricks with fire.

All the students settled down in our tables. Dumbledore announced the feast. Most Durmstrang boys sitting in the Slytherin table. One blonde caught my eye.

"Ashton?" I called out. The guy with messy dirty blonde hair turned around, revealing the beautiful green eyes that I have almost forgotten. "Ashton! Merlin, I haven't seen you in so long!" I ran over embraced him.

"Hey, Lessa." Ashton hugged me back. "You've grown." He said eyeing me up and down. I blushed and grinned at him.

"I've missed you." I told him in all sincerity. I haven't seen Ashton in three years. He lived next door to the holiday manor. I would visit him every year and we would catch up. I had not forgotten to owl him, but for the past few months, I have been owling him less and less. Meeting him was great as now we could catch up about the last three years.

"I've missed you too." He replied in a heavy Irish accent that I always thought was hot.

"Lessa." Daphne drawled from behind me. "Who is this fine young man?" She asked.

"Daphne, Ashton. Ashton, Daphne." I introduced.

"Ashton Clermont." He kissed her hand. "Pleasure to meet you." He winked at her.

"Daphne Greengrass." She giggled. "The pleasure's all mine."

"Daphne you have a boyfriend." I said pointing behind us. "A pretty angry one too." Blaise looked furious and ready to kill someone. Daphne sighed and walked back to Blaise. I frowned when I saw Draco talking to a black haired girl from Beaubatons. She was twirling her hair and laughing at every comment Draco made.
