Alessa's POV
"Daphne!" I shouted from the common room. "God she takes days to get ready!"
"Wait!" Daphne's muffled voice came from the dorm.
Draco checked his watch, impatiently tapping his shoe on the floor. "Blaise where is your girlfriend?"
Blaise was on the couch, relaxing. "Speaking of girlfriends." He looked at Draco, then at me, then back at Draco. "You two have been very..." He coughed. "Well you don't even try to hide it."
I blushed bright red. "Well we-"
"What do you think?" Daphne shouted from the top of the staircase.
I immediately turned around. Daphne was in a yellow cocktail dress and dark blue boots. "Team Diggory much?" I shook my head.
She walked down and hooked her arm to her loving boyfriend's. I frowned, recalling the scene I walked in on last week. I held Draco's arm, leaning my head on his bicep as we walked towards the Quidditch pitch.
"I feel bad for Blaise." I whispered to Draco once Daphne and Blaise we're far in front.
I looked up to my boyfriend, seeing a distressed expression. "She said she would tell him-hasn't she?" He spoke softly.
"She hasn't said anything." I furrowed my brows. Daphne was my best friend, but hiding a scandal from Blaise was too much. After all, I knew Blaise for longer.
"She said it was a one time thing, a mistake." We entered the Quidditch pitch -turned stadium. Crowds were gathering and voices overlapped.
"It feels wrong to hide this from Blaise." I mumbled, hugging Draco's arm tighter.
We took seats next to Daphne and Blaise. The field was turned into a rocky plain. There was a large nest with a couple of eggs in it. One was a gleaming golden egg. The crowds roared even louder when a dragon was brought into the field.
"Merlin's beard, Potter's going to die." I said, excited but also worried.
"I cannot wait." Draco smiled in anticipation.
"Hey guys?" Daphne looked at me.
"Yeah Daph?" Draco answered.
"I told Blaise you were dating." She chirped.
"Daphne wh-"
"He knew." She told her head. "Kind of. I mean you two are always flirting and all."
"You two have been horrible at hiding it." Blaise shook his head, smirking. "Everyone in Slytherin practically knows."
"You should have seen Pansy's face." Daphne giggled. "She was red as a tomato."
"Pansy has been trying to hex me all week." I said.
Draco shrugged. "That was why she was in the hospital wing for three days. I got detention for a week."
"I could have done it myself you know." I rolled my eyes. "Turning her into a worm is easy."
"I know." Draco pecked my lips. I blushed, grinning.
"Why weren't you two together earlier?" Daphne squealed.
"You guys have more chemistry than Daphne and I." Blaise stated.
"How are you two doing?" I asked subtly. I looked at Daphne straight in the eyes, not angrily or threateningly.
Daphne squirmed in her seat for a while, looking extremely uncomfortable. I decided not to take part in their conversation. I diverted my attention to the tournament, wondering excitedly who would be going against the dragon.
