"Hurry up!" Daphne shouted from the living room. "Merlin help me." she groaned, crossing her arms."Okay, Mother." Draco shouted sarcastically, running down the stairs with tousled hair and an untied tie. He was wearing his trademark black suit, followed by Blaise shortly after, dressed properly in a dashing dark green suit. Daphne and I were dressed in expensive off the shoulder satin dresses that hugged just the right places. courtesy of my mother.
"She thinks this will make me forgive her for not spending time with me." I mumbled.
"She has a beautifully expensive taste, you can't lie." Daphne said, admiring the knee-length dress.
Blaise wolf-whistled at Daphne, "Damn, babe."
"Well you don't look so bad yourself, handsome." Daphne drawled, fixing his suit and tie. Then they started making out, leaving me and Draco in an uncomfortable silence.Draco cleared his throat, "Didn't you say we were late, Daph?"
"Who's the one making us late now?" I crossed my arms.
"Right." Daphne pulled herself away and fixed herself up to be the poised woman she is. "Let's go."
We walked out of the manor, our luggages trailing behind us. I made it invisible to the eye as we would be seeing muggles left and right. Floating suitcases would not give a threatening impression. Daphne held Blaise's arm, strutting out of the manor's gates. Draco and I followed suit, me holding Draco's arm, our postures straight, chin up. We looked like royalty as we walked the muggle streets. Muggles parted as we walked on. A group of teenage boys wolf-whistled at Daphne and I as we walked past them. Blaise growled at them, wrapping his arm around Daphne protectively. Draco pulled me closer gave them a steely glare and damn if looks could kill. We arrived in King's Cross, walking straight towards Platform 9 ¾. Daphne and Blaise stood in front of the wall, pausing only for a second before striding in headfirst. Draco and I followed right after. As per usual, people stared at us as we walked in.
Blaise breathed in loudly, "The smell of no muggles." He grinned.
"Here are our suitcases." I said, making them appear in front of us. I stowed them into the luggage compartment in the train..
"We're late." Daphne pouted, looking at her watch. "There'll be no more compartments left for us."
"Don't you worry about that." Blaise said, opening a compartment door that revealed some third year Ravenclaws and Gryffindors chatting rather loudly. "Out." Blaise snarled menacingly. They seemed scared but stayed put. When they didn't make a move, Draco scowled and stood behind Blaise, making him seen. The younger years immediately rushed out, one was sobbing.
"Damn are they scared of you." I smirked at Draco, sitting beside him.
"It took hard work to build my reputation to as it is now." He seemed pleased with himself. He pretended to yawn and stretched his arms out, one landing on my shoulders.
"Very smooth, mate." Blaise said, putting his own arm on Daphne's shoulder.
We spent the whole ride to Hogwarts talking about Hogwarts related gossip. When the train was closing on Hogwarts, we decided to change into our uniforms. Daphne and I were walking towards the ladies' room when we came across Granger and the Weaslette. Granger considerably shrank under my glare, making Daphne snicker loudly. The Weaslette looked angry and stormed our way. Thankfully for her, Granger pulled her back.
"Keep your friends in check Granger, wouldn't want another broken nose yeah?" I snapped as they got inside their compartment.
"Are you still mad at her?" Daphne grinned.
