3 months have passed since Yashiro's departure.

That day, in particular, he was in Yashiro's classroom, it was already time for students to head back home. it was uncomfortably quiet lately so he decided to go and watch the view from her classroom, though, someone had the same plans as him.  Yashiro's best friend was there, she was changing the flowers on Yashiro's desk, even though this was not her classroom anymore, she came and talked about her day while she was treating the flowers, Hanako knew that someone changed them whenever they needed to,  it seems Aoi was the culprit after this.

She seemed happy as she spoke. Hanako was startled by the view but he did not move from where he was, he just watched. "...you had a good friend after all," he said softly as he felt the bitterness in that sentence increase. Minutes passed and strong stomps were heard at the distance though, Hanako was standing still there, whoever it was, they would probably not see him anyway, so he remained.

The stomps become stronger as the stranger was getting nearer. "Hey, Hanako!" the voice of a familiar boy echoed in the hall. 'oh ... it's him again' as he heard Kou he immediately began to get away, he did not want to see him ... not after what happened at least.

This thing has been repeating for a while now, kou chases, Hanako flees and that's pretty much it, however, this time kou was prepared.

"You lil' brat! you're not getting away this time!" he shouted and threw a bracelet at him, it went all the way to Hanako and expanded when it reached his foot, the bracelet twirled all around Hanako's body.

"!?" Hanako fell to the floor with the sudden weight of the bracelet all over him. "tsk, this is an anti-spirits tool" he groaned. Just how far will he go to catch him? why is he trying so hard? she's not here anymore! why bother with a ghost who can't go anywhere?

" Aha! got you!" kou felt as if he just had won a raffle. "now you're gonna hear me out," he said proudly of himself for catching Hanako after all these efforts, he could finally keep his promise with sempai! Hanako, on the other hand, had no plans to do as he pleased.

"You really went for it, huh? boy." Hanako laughed, "but don't think you've cornered me" He grabbed the bracelet with both hands and started to stretch it.

"There's no way you can break that wristb-" *riiiip* the wristband was torn apart by Hanako's grip. 'He just broke my family's anti-spirit tool by brute strength!'

"What were you saying?" Hanako teased, yet he was slightly mad for being forced to go serious over a mere trick. "y' know, I'm the leader of the 7 mysteries for a reason, now, if you excuse me" Hanako got up and started to run away from the young exorcist ahead of him as he was still shocked over the broken bracelet.

"Oi, Hanako!" kou's attention came back to Hanako as he was fleeing from him... and so the chasing began once again.

The young blonde was not going to give up just yet, no matter how much Hanako runs away, he's willing to stick with him, after all, aren't they friends? it's been three whole months since they last had a real conversation, he was worried, he would not admit it aloud, but he  cared about him, and so there it was the promise he made to his senpai, he was going to fulfill her last wish no matter what.

"Hanako!!" kou rushed as fast as he could, he had no intentions of letting him go today.

"Kid, you sure are insistent!" Hanako tried his best to avoid him, yet he's always managed to come back and haunt him down. "just why are you doing this?! go and live your life!" he screamed with all his strength hoping the young exorcist would stop all this foolishness...Kou increased his speed.

"I won't, you damn perverted ghost! I made a promise to senpai!" kou was about to catch Hanako's back at this point. "and I'm going to keep it for her!" he declared.

"...A promise you say?" he turned on a corner, few inches to be caught. the path led to the gardening club but there was no time to change the way he was going, as much as he didn't want to.

Did he hear it right? was all of this something Yashiro intended? just why? why did she have to be so nice to him? even when she was so close to death, she cared for others more than herself, she could have at least be a bit selfish! it was her life after all...He knows, the sorrow he has felt since he became *Hanako-san* its nothing, compared to losing her. From the moment he met the girl with fat ankles, she became the light he lost decades ago, how could he be ok with letting it go? only bad things come from being attached to the living.

Kou was on his way to the gardening club after he lost speed from the sudden change of path,  they have been running around the school from top to bottom, but he does not care about the tiredness, he has a mission he needs to fulfill.

Both of them are at the corridor that leads to the camellia field, one of the windows open, Hanako as the first to jump out of the hallway and second the blonde exorcist, both now running aside the field. water began to fall from above even though it was sunny, they were in such a rush that they didn't see it coming.
