14 - Beige

We laid down after a long day, Peyton played some music and at that very moment I felt relaxed and not sad or anything.

I looked at Peyton as she stared at the sealing and then at me and smiled. I was falling In love with her and she was falling in love with me.

"Bryson" Peyton called.

"What's up?"

"Do you think that he'll find us?"

I sighed "I hope not, but I'f he does I will never let him touch you ever again" I moved towards her and held her in my arms.

"You will never have to face life alone, ever again because I'll always be by your side." I say to her and kiss her head.

We were quiet for a moment just enjoying the music playing.

" I envied Carter and Elijahs love not realizing that you just can't force something that's not meant to be, now I know why all that was" I look at her "it was never her who my heart belonged to, it was you. I just didn't know it until now."

She smiled and I kissed her.

"Being broken is in a way the one way you know when someone truly is willing to love you, because they don't care how bad you are they accept it and make you feel special. They love everything you don't about yourself and find a way to make you better, not for them but for yourself." She said "I found you and everything felt like it wasn't going to crash, because you make everything feel so secure and you do everything you can to make sure that I feel comfortable. Which you know isn't something I'm use to, I guess I'n the same way you felt sad over it not being her I felt sad over it not being him. We wanted it to be them and we did anything we could to keep that image we wanted to be, we ended up more broken than full only to find a light in another place that we never thought could even shine.I truly believe we were destined to meet Bryson, and I'm glad we did."

She cuddled into me and I held her, my heart was so full at how she had just let her feelings speak freely which is all I ever want for her.

"Peyton" I said and she looked at me "wanna go somewhere?"

She smiled "sure"

We got up and I led the way out to the car we're I proceeded to drive to one place that I don't think I'd ever shown anymore but Carter.

It was this really nice garden that was hidden away form all the chaos of our town.

When we made it we walked into the garden and I watched how she was in awe of it all. I hadn't been back here in awhile. It still looked as beautiful as it did the last time I was here.

"I like to think of this place as an escape from all the chaos. The way that we've had so much chaos in our life this is a place to just lose yourself in and enjoy everything else around with no distraction or fear of what can happen."

She smiled and wandered around the garden.

I stepped towards her and grabbed her hand leading her towards me.

"Wanna dance?" I ask.

She laughs "I do"

We sway to the sounds of nature around us which is peaceful. I begin to hum to Beige by Yoke Lore as we smile at each other and just dance.

I spin her around and then she does the same to me. She laughs when I get tangled and almost fall. We look like two losers dancing weird in a garden but that's us.

She comes back to me and we sway again "In this moment we are free, from all the chaos We are Free"
