1. What do you, as the writer of your works, like about your book (placed) the most?Does everything count? Well, I guess what I like better is the characters I created and I can tell their story.
2. What inspired you to write your book (placed)?
I don't have a specific inspiration source. Mostly it was frustration XD. I just couldn't find the book I wanted to read so I decided to write it instead.
3. How many books have you written, including the ones you have not completed?
Six in total. My current WIP will be the first one I'll actually finish.
4. What inspired/inspires you to write?
Music and definitely other passionate writers and their books. I love to see the spark and love they have for their characters and the story.
5. What was the first thing that drove you to start writing?
My overactive imagination. One day everything was just too much in my head so twelve years old me finally picked up a pen and a notebook and the rest is history.
6. Are there any Wattpad authors who inspired you to write? If so, list their pseudonyms.
YourAverageNerd_ ; AvaViolet ; EverlarkCatoniss ; AubreyEatsHearts ; kpgcatlover
7. Do you get writer's block frequently? If so, what do you do to combat it?
Not anymore since I realized that if I ever get stuck in a scene, I just need to change my perspective and see what I am not seeing in that moment. When I am out of ideas what I do is listen to music, go for long walks or just take a break and do anything else.
I write whatever I want and that's why I don't have writer's block anymore. I stopped pleasing everyone and I'm writing what I want :)8. How long have you been writing?
I think it has been already almost eight years. Time flies fast.
9. Does your writing reflect your own thoughts intimately, or are you detached to some extent?
When it comes to my thoughts, I try to keep an open mind and stay neutral, but
11. Do you have any thoughts, any comments you wish to say upon winning in the Ace Awards?
I'm still in disbelief because I honestly didn't expect to win at all. I just joined for fun and once I saw the notification my day was made immediately. Thank you so, so much.
13. At what time are you usually more productive? Why so?
It really depends on my mental health. Sometimes I'm more active at night and sometimes I do my best work during the day.
14. What would you like to say to your readers as a token of appreciation for reading your book?
I can't express my gratitude enough. There are days where I doubt if anyone will ever read my work, but you guys seriously prove me wrong. And I'm thankful for that.
15. What is your take on the genres that you have written in (e.g romance, sci-fi, mystery)?
What I have the most experience in is the superhero genre on Wattpad and honestly, it's so colorful and there are endless ways how you can tell a meaningful story (it's a genre that not many can take seriously, especially outside of Wattpad, but just take the chance and read some of the books. You'll be surprised of what you can find).
Paranormal, so far, is a genre I feel most comfortable in. I haven't read paranormal books that aren't vampires and/or werewolves so I'm excited to explore it more.16. What do you like the most about writing? Why do you like it?
What I like about it that we get to create our own world. A sanctuary. Writing is really something close to magic and I love how it can bring people together. It's truly wonderful.
19. Do you have anything to say to motivate your readers who wish to become an author like you?
Just go for it! Seriously the only one stopping you is yourself. I know it's easier said than done, but just take that pen and paper (or laptop or tablet) and start writing. You don't have to publish it right away, just make sure to do it for fun!
20. What are your hobbies, besides writing? Why are they so?
Dancing and drawing. I can express myself doing both of these activities and I just love doing them.
21. What is the inspiration behind the title of your (placed) book?
It's the first thing that happens and the accident is the main driver of the plot.
22. Do you find writing to be something you would pursue as a career, or only as a hobby?
For now I only see it as a hobby, but who knows? Maybe I'll pursue it as a career in the future.
23. Do the protagonists in your book reflect upon you to some extent, or are they the protagonists you would like to be?
My characters definitely reflect some of my personality traits. I broke myself into small pieces and gave some parts in my characters so I could make them relatable not just to me, but also to the readers.
24. What would you call good writing and bad writing? Any examples?
I think good writing is when you can connect to the characters and really get attached to them and the plot. I don't think there's such thing as 'bad writing' except when you forget basic grammar. Then yeah, that's bad writing.
