1. What do you, as the writer of your work, like about your book the most?A: My favorite part of writing and books in general is how the characters interact. So in the case of Nagan and Az, I really do enjoy writing their friendship and how Nagan acts around different adults such as being respectful to Madam Arcloven and a bit more sassy to Master Dagmire.
2. What inspired you to write your book?
A: I sort of touched on it at the end of chapter 33, but what kinda started all this was to create something to escape to. I was just starting my first year of college and recently had put down my dog who's been with me since I was 5, so one day I said to myself, "I have this idea, so why not make a little fantasy world with dragons to go to?" And from then on it pretty much developed a life of its own, with three books and a prequel in planning, and I don't plan on stopping anytime soon hehe.
3. How many books have you written, including the ones you have not completed?
A: If you had said completed books, I could count them all on one hand. But since it's including not completed books, it's absolutely countless XD I've just had so many ideas throughout my life. I know this isn't the question, but I actually keep track of how many characters I've made, and currently, the number's at 491 heh.
4. What inspired/inspires you to write?
A: Mostly music and dreams. Sometimes I listen to a song and suddenly I have a whole scene playing in my mind or I'm creating a character based on what I hear. For dreams, my dreams are wild and mildly terrifying most of the time XD but great bits of inspiration.
5. What was the first thing that drove you to start writing?
A: My cousins and I would act out little story plots when we were younger, but I'd say what really pushed me to write was in 8th grade. My teacher's daughter is a children's book author, so creative writing was a big thing to him. We got to write a lot of stories instead of essays(which was pretty cool, cause I don't know about you, but unless it was explicitly a creative writing class, all I did in English was writing essays. Not as fun as writing stories heh). He always had something good to say about my writing, along with classmates agreeing I was a great writer, so I decided to develop it as the years went by.
6. Are there any Wattpad authors who inspired you to write? If so, list their pseudonyms.
——7. Do you get writer's block frequently? If so, what do you do to combat it?
A: All the time. Almost 24/7. It's like it never goes away XD but that's probably because I'm very hard on myself, and everything I write is GARBAGE to me. But, as long as I know others are liking what I write, it gives me enough motivation to keep going heh. How I combat this is honestly what every author has heard at least once before: Just keep writing. It might be utter garbage, but at least it's something, am I right? Once it becomes a habit, it a tad easier to be consistent.
8. How long have you been writing?
A: Oh gosh. Uhhhhhhhhhh a really long time honestly XD I didn't start actually writing things down until 8th grade, and had a few written ideas from all the way back since 3rd grade, but I'd say I've been coming up with stories for as long as I can remember. I know that most kids go through that make believe phase when they're young, but I just never really grew out of it heh.
