1. What do you, as the writer of your works, like about your book (placed) the most?

I like writing about true-life experiences, even if fictionalized for effects. My stories touches on events around me, or which I read about, but which have impact on people's lives.

2. What inspired/continues to inspire you to write?

The need to learn. Writing, I believe, is a learning experience – either for the writer or the reader.

3. How long have you been writing, and what was the first thing that drove you to start writing?

I've been writing actively for four years. The need to document some horrible personal experiences drove me to writing.

4. Do you get writer's block frequently? If so, what do you do to combat it?

I hardly encounter writers block. Reason: I usually have multiple stories going on. So when I hit a road block in one, I switch over. Writing continues. On returning to the previous story, the road is clear.

5. What advice would you give to other aspiring authors?

Seek your own voice and stay true to it. Everyone's style is unique in some ways.

6. Does your writing reflect your own thoughts intimately or are you detached to some extent?

Where the storyline or scene matches my personal views, I put down my thoughts. But most times, the character determines what gets written.

7. What are your hobbies, besides writing? Why are they so?

I like playing chess for relief and logic. I read newspapers/online news to keep me informed.
