title: can someone see the beauty?
any descriptions of your work? "can someone see the beauty?" is a story about self-acceptance and self-love. in this story, the character struggles with her insecurities and doubts which are mainly about her appearance. she constantly compares herself to others and desperately tries every method she can find to make herself beautiful. she stares at her reflection in the mirror all day and imagines that someone could see a beauty in her. this is her journey in battling insecurities, in accepting and loving herself despite her imperfections. this is a story where she discovers that maybe that 'someone' is her all along.
how did you come up with this idea? i interpret the title as a question consumed by fears and doubts. it's sort of a question that people have asked themselves atleast once. so i came up with the idea of self-acceptance. i also listened to reflection from mulan to get in my feels and the mirror idea just came to me then hehe.
hints on how you did this cover/graphics? i did the vector as usual. i searched up some pngs and 'vector-ize' them using the brush (?) or whatever and then i drew the mirror and some small details and finally do the shadow.
