title: clairvoyant
any descriptions of your work? this work is highly inspired by the salem witch trials (a real life occurence), wherein 20 "witches", though innocent, were executed for allegedly performing exorcism on 3 little girls. the witches were hanged in the gallows hill (which looks similar to our background)
irene (if you can't tell) is a modern-day witch who wanted to know what truly happened to this famous mystery and give justice for her ancestors. she has the power of seeing events in the past and future through her ball. it's so vivid, that, it's as if she was there on the exact time and place, although these are just illusions (which explains the mismatching clothes, the blur) i didn't reflect the runes and her creepy eyes inside the ball because i think it adds more magic to it i specifically chose winter since the trials started on February 1692, which is the end of the said season. this also explains the frost effect on the title.
how did you come up with this idea? i first understood the meaning of clairvoyant and then i thought of what i wanted to incorporate in my design: a witch, a crystal ball, and someone inside the glass ball. just recently, i've been addicted to watching buzzfeed's unsolved mysteries. they have a take on the salem trials there so i just mixed all of them together
hints on how you did this cover/graphics? (1) face swap irene on the girl holding the ball, made her thinner etc., blend the entire thing on the background by adding shadows and lighting
(2) add runes (play around with the tilting) (3) make the glass ball by making a fisheye effectalso, avoid using colorings & manually adjust

typography, color scheme, theme & cleanliness 50% - (does the cover/graphic so clean? does it look so messy? does the typography and color scheme matches the cover/graphic theme and the way it was put in? does the strand matches your cover/graphic?)
overall, 90/90%
+ 10% for the audience. (does it look good to you? any comments why you gave this score/rate?) this will be added at the end of the round.
