descriptions in your work? I created an infographic based on the profile of the despotic government in One Piece, "The World Government." It is designed for the use of theorists, commentators, and fanfiction writers who would benefit on a single-page view-it-all image reference regarding this political faction in the series. It's better viewed on larger screens, with min. of 1024px display or at least 70% scale of the image dimensions 1600 x 1024. It contains the following:
- The Empty Throne, a controversial symbol of world peace that is not actually empty; thus ruling out maybe the biggest lies the series could unravel.
- The History of the World Government
- The Commanders of the World Government, and their agents
- The goals of the WG
- 2 of the many major crimes the WG committed: slavery/human trafficking and genocide/censorship.
- The 3 opposing forces and threats to the WG
- Statistics and basic info such as reach, years of ruling
how did you come up with this idea? I came up with this idea of making an infographic when I was brainstorming for a useful graphic. I want to make something with that kind of value.As someone who writes canon compliant fanfiction with an emphasis on world building and character study, I find that this would be something convenient especially now that wikis are very crowded with ads (16, said my ad blocker).Since the prompt was very open, I went on exploring uncharted territories. The host said it could be anything and here's what came out of it. Though I have also had doubts because I felt it would look out of place from the other contenders, I still went with it. I'm actually ready to see people not understanding it is supposed to be viewed at 1600 x 1024 and complain on the text. Lol. So much for making an infographic.
hints on how you did this cover/graphics? Planning of course. Research. A lot of research. I based this on Arthur's/The Library of Ohara's updated One Piece timeline (the most complete in all of the internet) ( ) I fact-checked on Villains Wiki so that I can be as accurate as possible. What really took long was the layout. It's not really something I could have planned for fully since I keep on changing the placements a lot. Up until now I'm not a 100% satisfied on it since there's so much information needed to be included. The allegories to the real world is also a big thing I kind of wanted to touch on but could not be included since that would make the graphic pretty much out of focus.
