title: waves of the seas
any descriptions of your work? After the huge shipwreck, a girl was brought by the waves to a deserted island. She wake sup to unfamiliar surroundings...and a handsome face whose owner turned out to be a fellow passenger of the cruise. The longer they were on the island, the more their feelings grew. Just as their love was blossoming, weird things started to happen. They discovered the magic that lived on the island. The magic helped them go back to the mainland. The couple got married and lived happily ever after. Had it not been for the waves of the seas, they would not have found magic, they would not have found each other.
how did you come up with this idea? I really wanted it to have an ethereal vibe and theme despite it still being romance. I kinda built off of the whole sunset island theme tbh. It was more of just seeing where my imagination and creativity took me. I just went with the flow and I like where it took me.
hints on how you did this cover/graphics? First of all, the smudge tool and glow effects were definitely my best friend. Play with the lighting and brushes. Also to be able to smudge text you have to right click on the layer and then click rasterize layer. When doing the lighting, try to play with the opacity of your brush to create a more subtle effect when needed.
rate your own work from 1-10: tbh I think 5 cause I leaned more towards the ethereal side and not much on the romance and drama.I also feel like could've done a better job in places like the typography and coloring.
