Alternate Chapter 26

Hey guys. So, this is the alternate ending for the book that lasts a few more chapters. Now, if u don't want to read it, u may stop; but I recommend you do because it is really good. Anyway, enjoy!

Alternate Chapter 26:

Beast Boy scoffs and laughing, "Touché, Tin Man…"

All of them are laughing, except for Raven who used to sit right beside Beast Boy, is now sitting at the farthest corner.

Raven's violet eyes stare at Beast Boy who is laughing along with everybody else.

'He is faking it…' Raven thought, watching the way he laughs but his eyes dart everywhere else than his own teammates.

'I have seen Beast Boy laugh too many times for my liking, and this is not his laugh.'

The laughter dies down; Robin sighs and glances up at the clock, "It's one in the morning."

Cyborg who is now chuckling softly and takes a deep breath, glancing at the clock, "Yeah it is…"

Beast Boy yawns and chuckles, "Even after three months of sleep, I'm still tired!"

Robin stands up, "We better get some rest as well."

Starfire stands up next to Robin, then quickly flew to Beast Boy and give him a bone-crushing hug, "Good night Friend Beast Boy!"

"C-Can't breathe!" Beast Boy gasps for the air as soon Starfire releases him with apologetic smile, "Sorry Friend Beast Boy."

Beast Boy just smiles at Starfire, "Hey, no worries! I am good!"

Beast Boy's smile falters down when he saw Starfire winces. Starfire quickly covers herself by smiling back, but it was too late. Beast Boy already saw it.

Robin appears in Beast Boy's line of vision, "See you in the morning."

Beast Boy nods and smiles softly, Robin flinches ever so slightly and walks to Starfire.

Beast Boy sighs as he turns to Cyborg who is standing next to him, checking his medical vitals and making sure everything is in order.

"G'night Tin Man," Beast Boy tries so hard to keep façade up.

'Cyborg is my best friend, he won't think any less of me… Right?' Beast Boy thought nervously.

"Everything is good to go," Cyborg smiles, not once glance at Beast Boy's way, "Night BB."

Beast Boy gulps as Cyborg walks past him, joining with Robin and Starfire who is holding each other's hands as they walk out of the door.

'One… Two… Three… Hey! Where's the fourth?' Beast Boy's eyes widen and quickly scan his surroundings.

"Oh hey Rae," Beast Boy chuckles nervously when he finds Raven at the dark corner, "Are you ok?"

To be honest, Beast Boy found it strange to see Raven at the corner.

Beast Boy stares at Raven who is slowly standing up.

"First of all, it's Raven" Raven speaks in her monotone, "And I should be asking you that question, are you ok?"

Beast Boy scoffs and smiles, "Dude, Joker is gone and I am alive with you guys. I couldn't be any happier."

Raven glares at him, "You don't seem so happy when you first woke up."
