Ok.... so this chapter is not suppose to be up, but... I COULDN'T HELP IT, I NEED TO KNOW WHAT  HAPPENS. Now, remember I haven't read this story in about 3 months, so as I read it with u guys, I also have to wait for myself to update in order to read, so I didn't want another cliffhanger. Enjoy.

Chapter 29:Farewell Team

The decision is finally made.Beast Boy walks out of the common room without a second glance, into the elevator that leads him to the roof.Beast Boy walks to the edge of the roof, and jumps; transforming into a falcon. He flew to the Jump City.Raven quietly enters the common room. She was suddenly impacted with wave of guilts from her teammates.Raven saw them sitting at the table, upon closer look. Cyborg has a lifeless look on his human side and hasn't touched his sandwich; Robin is trying to calm Starfire's crying. Raven takes a seat next to Cyborg, "What happened?"Cyborg's human side seems to flicker back to life, glances at Raven, "It's just… Things are so different ya know?"Raven nods, "Go on…"Cyborg gulps, "BB is my best friend, but I can't just… It's hard to accept the fact that BB killed two people without second thoughts.""But they deserved it, didn't they?" Raven tries to defend Beast Boy, "Robin?"Robin sighs, "I don't know about the other man, but Joker definitely deserved it. But we are heroes, and we aren't supposed to kill no matter how vile they are."Raven squeezes her eyes shut; she knew that he's right.Robin reaches over to grab Raven's hand, causing Raven to open her eyes and meet Robin's masked eyes, "You know that, in a sick way, Joker had won. Joker wanted Beast Boy to go against what's right and kill him. You knew that, we all knew that, and Beast Boy knew that."Raven nods, "Yes… But what are we going to do about it?"Robin shrugs, "I don't know. I haven't told the polices nor the press. Right now, nobody knows what happened except us."Starfire sniffles, pulling herself out of Robin's arm, "I feel bad in my stomach. I cannot bear to see Friend Beast Boy. He does not look the same."Cyborg shakes his head, "None of us could."The team was quiet for a second before Raven spoke again, "Beast Boy knocked on my door every day at exact three o'clock. It was the same thing, he apologized and I never acknowledge his presence then he walks away. But today was different…""How different?" Robin questions."I noticed that his voice sounded broken and he didn't walk away after he apologizes. Instead he whispered something, but I couldn't make out what he said. I only caught the last four words before he walked away.""What were the last four words?" Cyborg puts his robot hand to rub Raven's back in attempt to comfort her."Until we meet again," Raven glances at her teammates' faces, "That was last thing he said before he walked away.""Sounds like a goodbye to me, "Raven whispers nervously, "Please tell me I am wrong."Starfire grabs Robin's arm and starts to sob.Robin froze.Cyborg bangs his hands on the table, "It's all our fault! Where is he now?"Robin suddenly came out of his froze trance and pulls his communicator out, "He is in his room!"Everyone ran out of the common room, into the end of the hallway, front of Beast Boy's room.Cyborg bangs at his door, "Hey BB, open up!"There was no response from the inside; Raven encases everyone into the blackness and transport into Beast Boy's room.The team glances around, the room is empty."I found the communicator," Starfire gulps, "and the letters for us.""Forget about those letters, we gotta find BB!" Cyborg shouts and pressing the buttons on his arm furiously, "According to my scanner Beast Boy is…"A whoosh was heard from the outside of Beast Boy's window, a green blur falling and a crash was heard."…on the ground outside." Cyborg finishes with a thud from his metal knees making impact on the floor.Starfire gasps loudly, tears streaming out of her eyes nonstop.Robin hits the wall next to him, making a dent and broke his hand in the process.Raven just stood front of the window with widen eyes, "No…"Robin sighs, cradling his broken hand, "Starfire, get those letters please. Cyborg, meet me in the Medibay."Robin walks out of Beast Boy's room with Cyborg slowly trailing after Robin. Starfire picks up the letters with shaky hands and walks out. Raven slowly opens the window; a rush of the air blows her face. She slowly looks outside below, begging that it wasn't true.But it was.The waves crashing against the rocks, the water turns into red as a mangled green body rises and falls in between the rocks.
