At The Agency, Skye's POV

I walked down to the meeting room where everyone was gathered. I was so worried, I heard rumours the that Y/N was tortured. Or even worse, dead. But I had to keep high hopes. I walked in to see a worried look on everyone's faces.

"I'm here". I said sitting in my seat.

"Good, let's get on with it then". Midas said sitting as well. Midas never sits. His facial expression showed extreme fear. I could sense something wasn't right. Before he started talking I noticed his arm was becoming more gold than usual. I knew he could control what he turns to gold and when. But if his emotions get a little messed up, he ends out turning things to gold without him thinking.
"
I'm just gonna say it. Yes, Y/N has been captured by SHADOW. And according to agents around the island, she has been brainwashed. She's going by Black Rose now. She's been using innocent people for target practice". He pulled out a little vial with something in it.

"Looks like they wanted to leave a mark for her". He tossed it to the middle. The vial had a golden bullet inside of it. I saw a little rose in graved. I admired the shining of the little metal killer.

"So do you want us to go find her?" TNTina asked. Midas' eyes widened.

"No. She went through our training course better than me. With SHADOW training her with guns and more courses, she'll be deadly. We need to plan our approach, find some way to lure her somewhere and get her then". He said. I thought about it. The plan may possibly work, but Y/N was smart and knew when things weren't right.

"Wait. Wheres Peely?" I asked out of my thoughts. We all thought for a second.

"I need to go to Weeping, now!" Tina said. I stood up.

"I'm going with her!" I seconded her. Midas gave us a worried look.

"Go. But stay in touch!" He demanded.

"Yes sir!" We said together, running out quickly.

Tina had already got the helicopter up and running.

"Hurry up!" She shouted from the flying vehicle.

"Coming!" I yelled back. I swung onto the side and slid my way onto the inside of the chopper. I sat in the back playing with my fingers in nervousness.

"I sure hope he isn't a banana split when we get there". I said to myself. It didn't take long for us to arrive at Peely's hideout. We knocked on the door, no answer. Tina broke the door down without hesitation. Tina pulling out her bow and I grabbed my assault rifle. We walked quietly around the wooden cottage. We noticed that the secret passage behind the book case was open. Tina backed up and aimed her bow down sight of the staircase leading to a hidden room. I nodded and she fired the explosive arrow. The boom echoed through the house.

I heard a slight noise. Cracking and wood breaking coming from beneath us. Out of no where, the floor breath us caved in sending us down to the secret basement. I opened my eyes after the dust cleared. I heard a clicking noise from behind me and TNTina. We shot around to see Y/N aiming two SMG's at our heads.

I took a shaky breath.

"Y/N, please you do not want to do this". I said raising my hands. She gave no response. Her face was emotionless. Mindless She was at the time. So this a little thing I like to call 'soldier mode'. So basically it turns on instant kill in her brain. Then when she's done her job she goes back to SHADOW and they release her from this. Only thing is she doesn't remember what happens during this time. Making her confused and more prone to rage and aggression. Either towards others or herself.

"Skye, anytime now". Tina whisper yelled. I threw my hat to the ground making my giant puffball, Ollie appear and knock Y/N to the ground. She started shooting her guns at us. The bullets flew past my head like delay torpedoes. I hid behind a wall and pulled out my sword.
If I hit her in the head I can knock her out of this. I thought to myself. My hands shook rapidly as I heard her approaching me. But instead of her turning the corner, Tina jumped her. Clinging onto her shoulders, she elbowed her head a number of times. Y/N threw her off of herself, tossing her into the wall. Tina hit the table and it flipped. She called out in pain. I ran up and hit Y/N in the back of her head. She shook it off like it was nothing.

"What have the done to you?" I whispered. She lunged at me forcing me on the ground. She pulled a knife from behind her and aimed it for my neck. I held her wrists with my hands, the distant between the tip of the knife and my neck was slim. Tina threw a punch at Y/N's face pushing her off me.

"Don't worry Y/N, I know you're in there I'll get you out". She swung at Y/N again. I got up and went to help her. An I des came to my head. I quickly looked through my back and found little taser disks. I grinned to myself. I put my bag back on my back and threw the disks at Y/N's arms. If I could neutralize her then I could call back up. The disks gripped her jacket, her arms sagged. I smiled cheerfully. That smile died when she ripped the disks off and stepped on them. Her suit must have had some sort of stabilizer. Then again, Alter Midas must have infused gold to it and put a neutralizer in to make sure this didn't happen. Sure they were evil, but they weren't stupid.

I was running out of options. Tina gave me a look. We had no choice but to run. I threw a proximate mine in the room she was in, slamming the door behind us. A loud boom was all I heard. I felt awful leaving her. Tina started up the helicopter. I stopped for a moment and looked back.

"Skye! There's no time!" She shouted. My eyes began to flood with tears as I jogged to the helicopter. I began to sob as we headed back to Agency.

Reader POV

They had no other options but to run. I had them both low. I saw them starting to run. Skye threw down a proximity mine right by my feet. It beeped, and I braced for impact. It hurt like hell, but I've had worse.

I woke up back at the SHADOW base. I assumed it was my room, all my belongings were on the floor. I rubbed my eyes, I groaned from sitting up too fast. I had bandages all over me. Damn, I must have taken quite the hit. I looked across the room to see Midas staring at me with his solid gold eyes.

"Watching me sleep, Eh?" I asked laying back again, slowly. I groaned a bit but it didn't really hurt at all.

"No, I was reading. Then I heard you waking up". He said. I noticed a book was in his lap. I sat there for second. Then a random thought came to my mind.

"Does it ever go away?" I asked randomly.

"What, my dear?" He said getting up.

"The gold". I said sitting up slightly.

"When I want it to". He said, sitting beside me on the bed.

"And when is that?" I asked him.

"Well I. I'm not sure, love". He said, thinking about it.

"Could you show me?" I asked innocently. He nodded. His skin began to glow and I saw the shining gold turn into pale human skin covered with tattoos. The gold had vanished everywhere except for a scratch like pattern down his right eye. I looked at it curiously. Squinting my eyes a bit, I pondered the golden eye.

"This doesn't go away". He pointed. I nodded quietly.

"Curious little thing, aren't you?" He said, flirt like. I blushed.

"Yeah I guess". I felt it rush through me.

"Don't be too curious. You might get yourself into trouble". He smirked. I remembered those words, but I don't know why.

"How could I get into trouble?" I asked going along with it, laying on my side.

"Well, the good kind of trouble, love". He smiled slyly, laying back on the pillows. I took a deep breath and removed my bandages that were no longer needed throwing them on the ground.

"I don't think I need these anymore". I said changing the subject. His grin widened.

"There's more things covering you that aren't needed". He said, his voice becoming seductive...
